Building A Town!
 

When I Was woodcutting today with steena I was thinking of more ways to make this game more interactive for players and for gangs to work together and for there to be more gang related activity's other then BA, Gang Sparring and Basing. If you were here during Christmas last year remember how the players had to work together to build the igloo by digging up snowballs and top 3 people got Igloos? Well I was thinking why not make this a daily thing but to actually make it so we build buildings not igloos using resources like wood, rocks, and fishing (you may be confused for fishing part but what's going to keep the NPCs not hungry while building the house.) Of course if this happens the resources required to finish these houses needs to be a lot more then the time it took to build the igloo and it should take almost like a month for these buildings to get complete which should be enough time for the LAT and Graphics team to make these levels and whatever will be sold inside the buildings. For rewards I was thinking the top 3 gangs (or players whatever the staff team picks) but for gangs for example I was thinking the rewards should be something like:

1st Place- 25 players the leader decides to gets a special hat (related to the house theme maybe)

2nd Place- 25 playersthe leader decides gets a 2nd place looking hat so like a silver version of 1st places.

3rd Place- 25 players the leader decides gets a bronze looking hat of 1st places hat.

(Reward could be something different this is just an example I was thinking and could also be rewards for the top 3 players who donate individually)

Rules:
-Players can only get 1 hat so players can't just switch from the 2nd place and 1st place gang for examples to try to get both hats if both these gangs win 1st and 2nd.

-Any Hacking such as using bots to get the resources for the house and if caught all the resources that player donated to completing the building will be taking away from the gangs amount of resources its donated total and disqualified from getting one of the hats.

-If leader or a player with same IP of a gang who donates resources and is caught hacking such as using bots will make the gang be deleted and him permanently disqualified from getting the reward from the house if he/she joins another gang in the top 3 after to still try getting the reward

-The Higher Level Rock/Fish/Wood the more donated to the building for example an aspen wood would only give maybe 1 point to the gang but a peace of crystal wood would give maybe 12 points

-(more rules or rules can be changed up to the staff team)

(This would also get more people into doing woodcutting other then fishing and mining)

Good idea but it is not going to happen. I dont chop wood and i know some people do but there not going to make an event on something like that because people that are normally woodcutting and are a high level would have a advantage unlike the x mas digging contest where it started one day and everyone could begin at the same time

But why shouldn't they have an advantage its hard getting to crystal wood or diamond rocks or sharks in this game? Hell they deserve the little boost. And for the digging contest not everyone started at the same time technically since the people that were off when it started.

just for this event there is a special tree everyone can cut

Something like that for special trees/rocks/and fishes can work to but not up to me up to staff if they even would consider this idea.

Not sure if it will be done, but I guess they could potentially try and make something similar.

My suggestion for this town, is maybe have a quest or job offer an example for a quest would be like collect 50 fish of any kind and they would pay you more gralats than it would normally sold like 50 crystal logs is sold for 1800g in the woodshop, but in the town when the daily quest or job offer it would cost about 200g more.
Another job offer is have an NPC be like godzilla/jeffzilla roam around causing havoc and players have to work together defeat this NPC to save the town.

Okay so what I'm getting at is the top 3 gangs compete in a race to whomever finishes the building using the most resources (Ex: [Knife Party] used 100 pieces of wood [Crooks] used 75 and [Abernathy] used 50 the top 3 gangs OUT OF ALL GANGS who used the most resources get a reward. Although it wouldn't be a hat I believe those a strictly for gang hour rewards or events.

That was just an example other resources would be required

All gangs would need to be able to have a fair shot to make it equal amongst the players

It's a good idea and would be fun but it's not my call and it needs to be discussed more.

If this idea is accepted just please make sure it takes almost a month to build these houses and not a day like what happen with the igloo bae.
