improve the in game report system
 

the log button can be found in the menu, so you can access it through there. once you are in the report log. You will see two sections, people you've reported or you got reported.

you have reported section features a cancel button, you can use it if you falsely report the person, changed your mind etc.
It shows who you reported, reason and the GP status to your report.

in the other section, it shows the reason you were reported by other players and the status by GP.

i think this is a good addition for graal because we often misbelieve that report feature doesn't do anything. also if you see why you were reported, people will refrain from what they are doing. (like if they are bullying/verbally harassing someone). i also added a cancel feature, cause 2 nights ago, I accidentally reported a wrong pinoy girl. there was no way to turn things back. all i could do is hope that she didn't get into trouble because of what i did.

it's just an idea, feel free to add or argue me.

I see the 2nd section doesn't need to be added, That's just gonna make someone not wanna report them especially if the person your reporting is a friend in the community or if you report them they are going to ban evade and harass you....

2nd section doesn't state who reported them, if it did there would be a **** ton of unnecessary drama

If you're harassing someone and you are reported for harassment it's going to be obvious who reported you.

it's not just about harassment. that was just an example out of many. players have been banned cluelessly and some of them still don't know why they were banned. i'll throw in more examples.
there were more example, it's morning can't think rn.

i personally think report log would help some people.
e.g. slim abuses his member to target one player.
people who were banned with 'no reason' could at least check their report log after they were banned.

I would dislike this. People would do something until the saw they were reported, then stop. No one would retract their report that they already sent because it would probably only be retracted if you made friends again with someone or threatened them by reporting them and they did something so you would retract it. Both aren't viable reasons to retract a report. Also a GP would most likely a see a report before you'd have time to remove it anyways. This also just opens up the chance of attacks on players who report someone and completely removes the anonymity aspect to the report feature. Once you are dealt a punishment by a GP, you see the reason, or a GP can Pm/Warn you with a reason, so reports won't alert anyone to what they're doing wrong and cause them to stop. I see far more ways to abuse this than for how it could be helpful.

if you are concerned about that, maybe 2nd section should be offered after you have been banned/warned. so it doesn't go unnoticed to a player.

maybe there could be an alert that says you've been reported. Nothing else

Classic should really have this type of report system because:
1. It's simplistic and user-friendly
2. It has the reasons listed saving both players/admins time
3. States if a player abuses/false reports, they will be warned

Subject: Offensive Behavior
Reason: This player is swearing and writing explicit messages.

@Bryan I agree. The only thing I dislike is it makes the reporting time longer, which can cause staff to not catch someone's chat. Overall, its pros outweigh the one small con I can think of.

Nothing happens when you report people. But you get a warning if you put admin in your name or status. The only rule in graal is don't say the admins did something wrong.

Reminds me of the time I had on my status:
"Ignorant + Incompetent = GP's of Classic"

There's a word for that.... Corruption.

I know there's corruption or tyranny if you're above the food chain. They should always remember it'll bite them in the future.
