Annoying Uploading Problems

So I've suddenly started to have issues uploading .gif files. Whenever I go to upload any .gif (shield, sword, head etc.) I get this message:

http://www.graalians.com/forums/atta...1&d=1457120230

I went back and checked my file which is clearly a .gif image (In this case it is my towering guild's shield)

http://www.graalians.com/forums/atta...1&d=1457120555

I've tried everything I can think of: using different browsers, going in and reformatting the files, rebuilding in different programs etc.

Anyone else encounter this problem?

If your uploading from something besides a computer that could be the problem.

Managed to upload the shield just now, so you don't have to anymore. Had no problems doing it, were you using a computer?

Yes I am uploading from a computer. My main computer is currently broken, so I'm using my backup which is a macbook air.

I've always manually created and compiled my gifs. I tried using Pixen for a while, but it always increased my images contrast.

I usually compile it in Preview (if you arent familiar it is a free app that comes default with macs)

EDIT:
I still make my art in Pixen (the contrast glitch doesnt affect pngs) and Adobe Photoshop

No no xD. I make the art in Pixen and Photoshop and save the frames separately onto my desktop then combine them in preview.

If you're on a Mac try "GifFun". I save out PNGs and use "GifFun" to combine the files into an animated gif. It works great!

gifmaker.me is a decent online resource, if a bit finnicky and bare bones for stringing frames together.
