Tips for Manga Studio? Cheaper alternatives to Cintiq?

Anyone know any tips, tricks and techniques to use in manga studio? I'm planning on buying it soon, though I only have a mouse to use. Is there any good, cheap alternatives to the Wacom Cintiq? Also some good tips for drawing with the mouse only would be much appreciated.
