It's a ddos atack.
It does not affect you, no. Only the site. No worries, the site should be back up once the atack is over.

An attack? Like a Virus Attack to the site?

A ddos atack is when someone sends multiple packets (most of the time over 1mili if the booter isnt trash) for a certain period of time, sometimes atacks can reach multiple hours or just a few seconds, to another Server.
Its really easy, illegal and a good reason to keep your IP adress personal.

And no its not similiar to a Virus atack or anything like that, its just keeping the site offline.
