Spar Points
 

Ok,
So there is gang points, which is simply a reward for basing. Why isn't there a reward for sparring (besides the set win awards)
Ol West prides itself, or at least tries to "differ" from the other servers, so rather than adding rewards for win goals (such as 5k wins you get a hat) why not add spar points. (Along with the win prizes I suppose)
For example you win 1 spar, you get 1 spar point, which in itself is like the basis of Gang Points. (1 point=60 seconds in a base - 1 spar point=1 spar win)

Not only would this make us different from every other servers spar system, but it might attract other players, and revamp west's "dead' I dare say, sparring community.

Another long needed thing is Ol west's gang sparring needs a revamp- this gives gang spar points? Or simply spar points.

With these currencies you would be able to buy things such as the GP items- guns, hats and so forth.

I think this is a do-able project, and it would most likely see the spar arena thriving, such as gp items increased basing's popularity.

Please consider this developers, and players share your thoughts on how this could be improved and so forth. :)

Perhaps if a player reaches a certain amount of wins, the higher the reward gained for beating them?
Milestones; i.e 0-999 spar wins = Worth 1 spar point after beaten
1000-4999 = 2 spar points
5000-9999 = 3 spar points
10000-24999 = 4 spar points
25000-100000 = 5 spar points (cap)

This is a great idea.

Theres spar hat rewards?

Nopoint of spar points when you have allready spar wins rewards.

The AFK community should get some love with hour rewards

I have to say I agree with Bram, and I am sure if spar points were added PKers would argue for PK points. I think the reward system is fine as it is. Plus it's kinda pointless to have 2 different reward system for the same thing.

Why not just make it where you get spar points like the Original Idea, and add more prizes for PKing. Like a new gun once you get like 10k Kills or a Pistol at 5k Kills and another of the same at 10k for Dual Weilding.

No, i don't think this is neccasary. If they wanted something like this, it's better to add more prizes at a certain amount of spars. Spar wins already act like a currency, when you reach a certain amount of spars. There's already hats to get, so it would honestly be better if they add more unlockable prizes at a certain amount of spar wins.

Gang spar could get more popular if they do it so you get gang points for winning and only way how I can see spar community increasing is if they make different type of spars like melee only, bar boxing (kinda like eras), Pistols only, Specials only(like turkey gun and other holiday guns), Shotguns only,etc. And have the landscape make sense with the type of spar like for example a bar type area for boxing (if you knew your history it was popular in the Ol west)

so getting a spar win gets a spar point? thats no other then winning the spar and getting a win.. ;/ usless

For basing you get kills and basing rewards (and) gang points
For sparring you get wins, sparring rewards (and) a spar point

was there ever a time where spar rate was relevant? like, was it enabled like on PC?

no we need rewards for how much black we can put on our characters+status.
