Why am I winning spars more often?
I haven't played in months. I've gone on a handful of winning streaks of 5+. My highest losing streak has been two games. This is in the past 48 hours. I'm wondering about the different possibilities to explain this.
1. There was a crackdown on speedhackers and delayers (I'm still seeing a good half-second lag response time from some, but that's manageable). 2. The server population as a whole has become less adept at sparring. 3. I have been playing at Ballmer Peak. |

I actually have a theory that every time you come back to sparring (after a few days/weeks), you actually get better than the last time.
It's possible though that, people get used to you, and then when they haven't sparred you in a while they would have no idea how you spar. That's why I recommend not "studying a person", and just learning how to adapt to any situation. |
I mean.... usually when people win it's because their just good/better than the opponent??????

Well it's not the first 2.

If anything, everyone is getting better at sparring imo.

you're most likely improving the more you spar

I've recently come back to sparring after not playing for a good 2-3 months. I'd say I'm better than I was before.
I think it's because graal feels fresh again and you're having more fun playing it. If you're having fun you wont over think it or try to hard and we all know that doesn't help when you're trying to win. |

There's been a lot of people who used to be mediocre improving a lot, along with a lot of old players who were near the top on old PC Graal coming back to the game. Definitely not number 2, lmao. |
Wow! You should join VIS
