Wait, if someone does use a vpn, can't they just disable any tracking?

It would just show the area of where the ip used with the vpn is located at

It's gonna be funny seeing the people everyone knows are from certain countries showing up halfway across the world.

Just tested this with somebody.

At the moment they VPNed to Singapore and the flag didn't change. I'm not sure if they're only getting the info every now and then to avoid constant work, which might be it. Or why, if that isn't the case, VPN passes by could possibly be cleared up by someone with more knowledge.

Edit: After he turned it off, the flag changed briefly to Singapore but then right back to his default flag.

Where is the flag at? I don't see it...

Tap your player, there's no longer an option to change the profile flag under "Edit".

Might've just been a delay in changing the flag; I'm willing to bet if you tested it more than once it would properly display the country you connected from (so your normal country sans VPN and your VPN's country with VPN.)

Sadly people will still intentionally use 3G or stress their connection or just use low-quality VPNs in their same country, but this helps as much as possible
