Graal Classic/Era worth?

I stumbled upon this website

https://sensortower.com/ios/us/toons...plus/350608510

That says classic has an estimated worth of 3 million dollars. And Era with 4.5 million dollars.

Does anyone think that is true?

It says their revenues (monthly) is about 40-60k. It's interesting. I'm not sure if the website is a trusted source, but I guess it's possible.

I can confirm that this is true.
I verified it with my own app and the numbers were correct.

I would love to take a look at toonslab's books to see what they make after all expenses.

Considering ToonSlab is basically 1 guy, probably not that spectacular

Now if only they could afford a server upgrade for Classic. :<

I used to say the same thing, then Rufus rekt me and told me it has more to do with the client's poor scalability given the amount of players iClassic has. Makes sense, a Graal server has never average so many players.

If only I could achieve such a level of enlightenment.

Is it true that at one point a small level that had over 100 players would cause a crash?

3mill and they can't upgrade the server?

Don't think this is true. Did you see sardons tower when CxE was like 1 hour away from 10k?

SouthernZombie* 08-19-2015 12:39 AM

Woah

Honestly, if they do, then it's not that big of a deal. It's not like stephane keeps all that money to himself. TS pays their employees, and probably their highest staff members.

Also, looking at these charts. I can see that another server would benefit ToonSlab that much, since most of their revenue comes from US...

If they did add a server in EU, they would definitely bring a lot more income.

I, uh, started playing Graal in about 2000 or 2001. Maybe 1999?

I'm curious if people still complain about the same things, there's still a large playerbase of kids with their parents paying for them, and if any of that group from the start of the Graal still play.

Probably not, but it's a funny thought that came up when I remembered Graal the other day. I'm surprised it hasn't died off yet, with Unixmad never wanting to truly open up the GServer.
