Hip Hop

I'm surprised there isn't a thread about hip hop or rap in general so I decided to make one.
Post your favourite albums and tracks and discuss upcoming projects or old stuff.

Personally I think IDLSIDGO is the best rap album so far this year and probably Earl's best album yet.
To Pimp A Butterfly is good as well but I think it's a bit overrated.
Didn't really enjoy Cherry Bomb tbh
What do you guys think?

Cherry Bomb was ****ing awful.

IDLSIDGO was good but I still think Doris is the best earl album. I wouldn't say it's the best album yet this year either. Cannibal Ox's new album is great even without El-P producing it. Because of that, it doesn't have the same sound as The Cold Vein which was a masterpiece, but it's still a great album. Action Bronsons album is also really good. There's just been a ton of awesome **** released this year so far.

Doom is great on the track like always.

At.Long.Last.A$ASP is my fav album that has been released this year, and I am really hyped for Pound Syndrome, especially after hearing Crown Me.

I can't say I like her writing/lyrics, but I do enjoy her way of rapping. She has great rapping voice. Grieves, Eminem, Kanye West, and Kid Cudi are my tru favorites tho <3

My Beautiful Dark Twisted Fantasy is probably one of the best albums of this decade so far

Doris is very good if it weren't for the lyrics I'd agree though.

my top 3 albums of 2015:

1. Big Sean - Dark Sky Paradise (i was never even a big sean fan before this, nobody else gives it love it's cool though. really good songs with replay value on this album. favorite song: paradise (extended))

2. Kendrick Lamar - To Pimp A Butterfly (i'm really into kendrick but this album disappointed me because of the direction he decided to go in with the production and all that. not much replay value for me, the songs all got boring besides "king kunta" and "you ain't gotta lie" really but i can't deny that it is a great album. favorite song: you ain't gotta lie)

3. Wale - The Album About Nothing (i was never a wale fan before this, this album has so many good songs that i had to listen to it like 20 times before i was able to pick out its top 5 songs for my playlist. favorite song: the girls on drugs)

my top 3 mixtapes of 2015:

1. Skeme - Ingleworld 2 (this guy is in the game's crew, really versatile as shown by this mixtape and can make a good song with autotune and just with straight bars. favorite song: issues)

2. Audio Push - The Good Vibe Tribe (these are the people that made "teach me how to jerk" and they have come a long way. this mixtape has drug-related songs (was released on 4/20), turn-up songs, meaningful songs, everything really. hit-boy is on the production for many of these which only makes them better. favorite song: reppin)

3. RJ - OMMIO 2 (this mixtape is packed with a bunch of mainstream sounding songs, they all sound like the same song honestly but i liked it so whatever! favorite song: your money)

projects i'm looking forward to:

1. Travi$ Scott - Rodeo (has become my favorite artist, interested to see what he can do to follow up Days Before Rodeo.)

2. The Game - Documentary 2 (i love this dude, king of beef, looking forward to a lot of name dropping and just good rhyming.)

3. Jay Rock - TBA (really good artist in TDE, gangster rapper who is way better than schoolboy q in my opinion. his last album was in 2011.)

3. wale - the album about nothing

sorry kendrick.

Bushido - CCN3 was pretty good. Kinda hyped about Bushido and Shindy - CLA$$IC however.
KC Rebell - Fata Morgana was cool too.
