Memory usage

Graal Classic takes up 1.3 GB and Graal Era takes up 1.1 GB on my device. The app description in the app store says Graal Classic is the size of 23.2 mb while Graal Era supposed to be the size of 26.3.
Do I delete and reinstall or...?

Those are the sizes for the original downloads, because it's online you end up downloading things like head files, hat files, and other things that add up to the numbers you're seeing now.

I generally reinstall the game every couple months to clear out the useless files.

Does the same happen to the playerworlds?

I will possibly look into adding a way to clear your cache from within the client, but I don't know how possible this even is.

Yes.

Weird how android has the option to clear cache, but ios doesn't.
If only Graal started on android... so many possibilities.

If only it started on PC...endless possibilities.

Everyone knows Graal was created in 2009 as an iPhone game.

I meant if only iClassic started on android so it would be more optimized than ios.

Thallen 07-23-2015 09:38 PM

Optimizing it so that cached files that have not been used in ~60-90 days are automatically deleted would do a lot for device space usage and the freezing problem, but I'm sure that requires cooperation from Unixmad or whoever handles the client itself

Livid 07-23-2015 09:41 PM

I generally reinstall if I start freezing or graal is taking up too much space, the freezing stops for about 3 days.

I usually just clear data on android. If I'm on PC, I just clear the levels folder, which has all the heads, bodies, ganis, etc.

Would also have about 10 players.
