Opinion on the 2015 players
 

I think since we are in mid 2015 we can judge the newer playerbase.

How do you feel about them compared to other years such as 2014,2013,2012 ect.

remember this is to generalise the new public
So if you have started this game in 2015 I am most likely not targeting you.



I personally find that they don't know their place around here and are obnoxious, immature and annoying.


I've found that they think their better than everyone even though they have only a few friends and a low reputation.

I do beleive they should be put in their place which is part of the main focus of my new guild project.

How do you feel about the new classic playerbase?

TBH, were we really much different when we started playing? You must remember Classic has a young player base too; people don't always play to win.

I think the "new" playerbase is composed of both old and new players. It's hard to judge them as a whole because they aren't just one person. With that being said, there's no reason to diminish any of them. Because like any game, the players are the game. And without them Graal would be nowhere. It's best to welcome the new players with open arms. Soon enough, they'll be the old players and the cycle will continue :).

Believe me Sardon knows about playing not to win!

Not trying to flame here but, the things you said sort of sound like how old people hate everything that's new.

I'm part of between the 2014 gen so I can't compare much between the old and the new players. I just feel that they all act like kids.

I do think that most of the newer players are rude, but that doesn't mean all of them. I've only dabbled in 2010 and started to play more in 2012. (Sadly, I can't compare this to another game, simply because anyone can be strong.)

Well there are immature people from every generations, even the oldest one.

So having more friends and a higher reputation means you are better than everyone? :o

I am from late 2013. I don't really have any thoughts about the newer generations except that they are trying hard to move up the ladder. About the older generations, sometimes they just randomly hate on the new players. Like, for example, they would call them "kid", just because they have never heard of them and would look down at them like they think they are better before even knowing them.

I don't care because I've never classified anyone by the year they've joined.

I am only taking the majority
their will always be good in a bad crowd and that is undenyable

Do you know what level you're on? I don't think you are anywhere close to being able to judge a whole player base when you yourself are pretty similar to them.

A majority of us were probably the same way when we first started and to be honest because a lot of people have played before 2015 they don't really care at all about new players which makes it hard for new players to 'fit in'.

I honestly don't know the difference between each generation of players from after I joined (2011). Anyone before me is pretty noticable. But is it really that much of a problem? No. I garuntee when you started Graal you were very similar. It's been 4 years now and I can definitely tell that I have matured a lot since my beginnings in 2011. It's not an issue at all. But from what you are saying it seems like you sit around looking at their profiles and judging their every move.

In other words, you're acting like a grandpa who is afraid of change.

My whole thing when I started Graal was "Oh I wanna be like this guy." So some of us older players can influence new players. Honestly, I am still a "Thallen Fanboy" at heart since both him and Zanza sort of kept me continuing to want to play.

Posting stuff like this could influence new players to have the same garbage attitude, which is not what I want to see.

I like new players
They appreciate the game for what it is
They don't obsess over someone for their stats or reputation, they don't know anything yet

I don't take the time to really judge newer players or "2015" players in particular because its been stated before, we all been through those phases. You start as something then you evolve as something else.

It's kinda like a chess game, make the right moves and you'll see yourself succeeding.
