Vote to Ban Players Implemented
 

I think that allowing the playerbase to make more game changing decisions is one of the best things Graal could do. A good way to start doing this would be implementing a way to "vote to ban a player".

Essentially what this does is adds a little "ban button" at the bottom of everyone's profile, something like this:

This button will then bring them to a menu with to options, asking "Do you want to ban this player". Selecting yes will begin a timed poll lasting 2 hours, and if the votes are in favor of the player being banned at the end of two hours, the player is banned. If the only vote was from the person who started the poll, they will still get banned, because obviously no one liked them enough to say they shouldn't be banned.

This would be one small step in the right direction for classic. With allowing players to vote to ban other players, it will give everyone the idea that the players are the ones who really should make the decision, and that the staff have no idea what the hell they are doing. This will push classic into an age of Democracy and Free Speech, where we are allowed to vote for other things too, like who should be hired as an admin/moderator, or whether or not to bring back honor points and the part of deadwood that was removed; Things like that, things that were important to us players that staff couldn't understand.

Obviously staff are going to respond to this saying that this is a bad idea, or other rubbish like that. But it is just because they are afraid of strong empowered players like you and me. Together we can ban innocent people who we don't like if you just fight for it.

How about if it is less than 5 votes, no ban.
This can be abused by people using alt accounts.
Everyone can ban new players as they won't know anyone to defend them.

No, because if not a single person decides to vote to not have them banned they are either.

A. An asshole, and no one likes them
B. A loser, and no one cares about them
C. A noob and they haven't played long enough to make friends

All three of these people are bad for the community and shouldn't be allowed to play.
