TV Shows Recommendations
 

Hello, can someone recommend me somme TV shows to watch? Preferably on Netflix. I've heard people talking a lot about series like, "Game of Thrones," "Breaking Bad," and idk a few others, but have never check them out. So, now, I decided to go on break from Anime for a few weeks and try out a few American shows. Can someone recommend me some shows and give me a brief summary what it's about?

It'd be great if you know any sci-fi shows that talks about scientific stuff, like idk doing chemistry experiments, combining chemicals etc.

When i saw the title of the thread i instantly thought. Breaking bad. Game of thrones and The walking dead. Looks like you have heard of two of them already. If it is Chemistry sciencey stuff your looking for, the closest to that is Breaking. Breaking bad is about a chemistry teacher who is diagnosed with cancer and decides to team up with an old school student to cook meth. Walters (the chemistry teacher) brother is part of the DEA and he is looking for the cook of the blue meth which gets popular, and of course we all know the cooks are walter and jessie. Lots of close calls and quite a few deaths.

Game of thrones is a great tv show. Its about 7 families (lannisters, starks, tyrells, targarian, greyjoys, and two others. Cant remember the names and i have probably spelt these all wrong lmao) who are all in competition to take over the iron throne. The iron throne is basically where the king of all the kingdoms sits (i think?), so whoever is in control of it basically owns everything lol. Lots of unexpected gory deaths, characters you get to love. Charachters you eill absolutely hate. Its great i strongly recommend it. Oh and i forgot. Lots and lots of s*x.

The walking dead! Quite obvious what it is about but i will go into details. Ok so the main character Is Rick Grimes. He is basically the group leader. So first he starts off alone when the zombie appocolypse happens. He wakes up in a hospital bed and walks around. It is absolutely deserted apart from dead people on the floor and stuff he meets a man and his boy and stays with them for a bit. Like half an episode. He then travels to the main city and ends up being trapped by a bunch of walkers. (Zombies). He gets saved and ends up joining a group of people and basically thats how it goes on. New people join the group. Lots die. Some deaths are pretty disgusting, like Game of thrones and many unexpected people die. The group has to overcome lots of enemies. Not just walkers..... Amazing show.

Arrow+The Flash!

The Flash has some science in it because the main characters are scientists and they use different scientific methods to find weaknesses in enemies. Basic plot is there is a kind of explosion from a partical accelerator and this caused people to have superpowers and a team are formed to stop the evil guys with superpowers. I just gave a basic plot because you'd probably wanna not have much spoiled. But if you do watch The Flash you gotta watch Arrow too because they both cross over a lot and The Flash originates in Arrow season 2. The order you should watch it in is:

Arrow Season 1---> Arrow Season 2---> Flash Season 1 Episode 1---> Arrow Season 3 Episode 1---> Flash Season 1 Episode 2---> Arrow Season 3 Episode 2---> Flash Season 1 Episode 3---> Arrow Season 3 Episode 3 etc.

Arrow is basically a guy who was stranded on an island for 5 years. He had one goal on that island which was to survive. He returns home and become this badass vigilante and kills anyone who commits major crimes and stuff. It gets quite intense and is an emotional joy ride.

As someone mentioned above Game of Thrones is good. Game of Thrones is an emotional joy ride aswell I assume if you do watch it you'd probably get quite sad and angry a lot. That could be said about some parts of Arrow and The Flash but Arrow and The Flash are PG so it wouldn't be as extreme and gorey as Game of Thrones is. But dude just watch all 3!

Ok, imma watch it in this order: Breaking Bad, Game of Thrones, and Prison Break. Hope I learn something new binge watching these
