If God created all who created God? - Alien Confirmed

God is the source of life. The alpha and omega. The beginning and the end.
If something created God then who created the one that created God? Sooner or later no matter what you believe you're going to come to a point where something had to have always existed.

First and foremost, I'm not religious and I haven't even read the Bible. I'm more of an atheist than anything else, too.

So, sin is something that you can do that's bad and that's against the "laws" of God, at least that's how I see it. He created those laws because he saw those things as immoral and they were things he did not want to be associated with. I mean, I see God as a regular person with a brain that works like ours, so he created those laws as countries would create their laws.

And, was Satan not an angel before he became the devil? His name was Lucifer as an angel, I believe. He sinned many times so God decided to "exile" him from heaven, creating a new fiery world for him that other sinners would go to, also. I don't know much about this though, so someone more educated on Christianity should probably explain this more in depth.

Jesus did not create sickness, God did. I'm guessing that God create all of the science that goes into our universe, and then sickness was just a result of that. Perhaps God is a sadist and wanted to have a little bit of fun with his world, you know? Like, I'm being 100% serious here, we don't know how God thinks.

Something that I find pretty interesting about Christianity and what people believe in is that, the First Commandment is: "I am the Lord thy God; thou shalt not have strange gods before Me." Even thought that's what God said, a lot of Christians view Jesus as equal to God. (Even sometimes mistaking Jesus as God!) But, if God himself said that no one is equal to him, then why do we look at Jesus as an equal to God? If there's an explanation for this, I'd like someone to tell me about it, I'm genuinely interested.

Anyway, Pacman has a good point and it's something that I've thought about, also. The Big Bang created the universe. It created space and time, but before space and time, something must have caused the Big Bang. But what? We may never know, but there has to have been something that caused it... However, it would be something that doesn't conform to the laws of space and time. God, perhaps? But then, what created God? Something must have. What created the thing that created God? If your answer is that God was always there, then can we not just come to the conclusion that the universe just sprang forth from nothing?

Exactly. Even if we say the universe was created by Big Bang, what created that and then what created that that created that. Sooner or later you have to come to the conclusion that something had have always existed and it has to go beyond our comprehension.

As far as the Jesus and God thing. Christians believe they are one in the same. Christians believe in something called the trinity. Father (God), son (Jesus), Holy Spirit. I read a book on systematic theology and the way they explained it was a triangle. Triangle has 3 points and even though there are 3 points each point is part of the triangle. I'm paraphrasing here and probably doing a horrible job lol

Every part serves a purpose. Jesus's part is that he was the ultimate sacrifice. Christians believe that every person has sinned. The penalty for that sin is death and hell. But Jesus paid that death if a person is willing to accept him. That's Christianity in a nutshell.

Ah, okay. That makes more sense, now, thanks. I still don't really believe in any single God, though. I think I believe in some sort of a god, but it's hard for me to say exactly which God because I don't really know, since there's no evidence of a certain God existing. But yeah, thanks, that helps me understand a little bit more about Christianity's beliefs.

Yeah no problem! I'm not the type to try and force my belief on anyone. I follow more of a Calvinist view rather an armeninist view. Honestly I don't see how any Christian can believe in armeninsm.

Sardon 05-30-2015 02:39 AM

the devil was an angel who wanted to be more than just an angel and wanted to be higher than god himself so thats what he tried to do but he was sent to hell and became ruler of it.
