Making a Level
So you want to make a level? That's awesome! If you follow this tutorial you're level should look pretty good.
Starting Off: To start off I'll be making a good concept of what I want it to be like. I won't bother with details yet. As almost everything is made, it starts off with a good foundation. http://i.imgur.com/xJlCt.png Getting Outlined: Time to add some layers to grass and a bit of details. Nothing big, but finishing off your foundations. http://i.imgur.com/oTHpV.png Adding Details: Now it's time for the fun part, the detailing. Try not to do it too much, as it can wreck the level. This should really lighten up your level! http://i.imgur.com/2vbLJ.png The Finishing Touches: Alright, to finish this off we'll add some more tiles that are harder to see, but really make it nicer. I've used some cut down grass and some other non-blocking tiles to spruce this up. http://i.imgur.com/CQzkP.png |
Itīs ok if you have basic experience with levels. But you should tell people where the tiles even are, explain the details more and stuff.

It's really just meant to show how a level goes together. That you can make a terrible level into something beautiful.

I didn't really get what you had, critiques please.

That's more of the style of Pixel Art. Try using Paint.NET or GIMP for that!

Think I stopped doing levels, it wasn't that fun as I thought.
Only cool to put something together and run around with some idiotic character. |

Levels are a playable area in the game. In Graal you use Graal Editor to make levels. These levels are constructed out of hundreds of unique tiles.
