Graalians - the new clients, or whatever they are RUIN GRAAL

after some months of waiting for account activation, i can finally post here...
i know this forum might be about the IPHONE or whatever graal, but i cant post on the official forums(yes, i tried registering. the post which states that people dont have to be gold or classic to post now probably doesnt include registration..).

so... this post is about how ****TY the new clients are/were.

the first v6 client actually ruined graal for me, after i was forced to use it.
the first thing i had to notice, was that most of the options were removed. there wasnt even an option for FULLSCREEN anymore.
because of that, i thought there actually isnt a way to play in fullscreen anymore, and i thought it actually has some kind of reason why, not just removed for no ****ing reason.
its not nearly the same playing in windowed mode. you should try playing ANY game you played in fullscreen before in windowed mode. play LoL or Slender or whatever the hell is popular now that way. there isnt even an option to choose windowed resolution anymore. i had to try using alt+8 and alt+9 or something to zoom. the windowed resolution change might work from the config TXT, but its not in the in-game options. the in-game options actually represented the ones in the TXT before...

so i found out alt+enter can be used for fullscreen. but it was ****ing horrible. the whole thing looked slightly blurry, and the scaling was off, some parts were even above the top border of the screen. when i tried to switch to an other window with alt+tab or anything else, the game still stayed on top. so if i wanted to actually see other windows, i had to exit fullscreen then enter it again.
then i realized it was different with openGL turned off.
but it was still ****ty. firstly, i always had to turn off open GL EVERY time i opened graal, since it didnt remember getting turned off. changing it in the txt didnt do anything either, and secondly even though i could now switch to other windows, i couldnt come back after that. graal didnt become visible again. i had to, and still have to, press alt+enter to exit fullscreen mode, and then press alt+enter again to go back in it. i have to do it damn fast too, otherwise if graal has the time to come up and go to windowed, the playerlist position will get screwed, and i can drag the playerlist to its place again. and since the top of the blue crappy playerlist cant be seen or dragged in fullscreen, i have to drag its border there, and then even resize it back.

all this instead of like... ticking the "Start in fullscreen" box. and solved. done, end.

its pretty funny how a lot of time ago, since this has been like this for a LOT OF ****ING TIME, i pmed Stefan all this **** ingame, and he replied "alt+enter".

and about that playerlist... would it be too damn hard to just leave things alone?

this is how the windows looked for me, ALWAYS. it was the "Default" style, when you didnt use in-game playerlist or whatevers..
this is what my gui looked like, which is basically the closest damned thing to a player in a game, and this is client-wise, global look.
now, this style isnt there anymore. so they basically removed another thing which accompanied me for several years and made my Graal be.
and it didnt just look better (for me), in the white styled playerlist, if you sent a pm to a person who put you on pm ignore list, their name became purple. which meant i could know who ignore listed me, so i didnt waste time writing essays to them. besides that, it accurately displayed the level players were on if you hovered your mouse over them. if you try that now, you can see how most of the time the correct level which is in the profile of them isnt the same at all that you see while hovering over them. it displays maybe the level they were on when you or them connected or disconnected or reconnected or whatever, so it defeats its purpose.
it could also be dragged, since its top could be seen. but it didnt have to, since it never resetted its position in all the years, since there was actually a proper fullscreen...
i didnt even mention how nice it is when you cant fullscreen back if there is a profile window open. and how much nicer the profile window also was in the white/windows style, since it was way easier to read, and it wasnt partly transparent, or whatever is going on with the blue one... and i know there are other styles, even a white-ish one, but its not the same..

besides these, the reason why i registered here in the first place , was that i couldnt even play graal for TWO MONTHS, since i got the same black screen **** some others also did.
after the first v6, i thought it couldnt get worse, but the new one was so ****ed up, i couldnt even get it to start properly...
i wont even mention how much i struggled to get some help or info on this, how many forums i registered to and read, how many tickets and pms i sent to the graal staff and others every day, how many things i tried to do myself when noone and none of this helped.. this was for two months at least.
but after that, and after trying a lot of pretty radical **** with driver updates, flushing and deleting this and that, i noticed that the URLCACHE.txt and game_console.log were both full of URLs to ****ing FACEBOOK servers... so people who cant connect to facebook or have incorrect system date wont be able to play on graal. fortunately, only the login server is affected it seems... but if they merge the original graal online with that totally not overrated excuse of a site based on such a damn original idea executed so damn well that it needs to infect games, at least they could warn people, like : "hey players or non-players, graal will now merge with the only site where you can willingly put all your data in a public online register, so you will probably be observed through graal too now, and maybe graal wont work anymore, sorry, this was needed because i said so, even though the servers or the playerbase didnt get united either to make it somewhat more active. dumb ****s..."

but whatever. it probably cant even get ****ed up more, fortunately.. hopefully.

besides this, even though the new version is said to support foreign characters... more.. or something, i like how two pretty essential letters of my language dont even display ANYMORE, even though they did before.. how can that even happen? the same way the Connecting... message got ****ed up somehow? or is that intentional?

and besides that, people say it lags way more than before. i dont know if i really experience that. it just seems similar like before.

i probably even left out something, but its pretty late now.. i just want to post this so people can see it until i fix other **** other people also ****ed up... (like youtube)
i just want to play on v5 or v4 again.. these versions are completely unlike before. even Graal the Adventure had proper fullscreen, for example...
i just want a graal i already had, and others probably do too...

so if you could help with any of this, please consider considering doing it...

people there are already kindof rebelling anyways.

now you cant make the client thing stay in the tray menü.. cant imagine a reason why that was removed, even though the same is true for every other change since v5,

you cant exit with ESCAPE, which means if you manage to somehow go in fullscreen, which is not an option anymore anyway, you have to quit by alt+f4, or ctlr+w, or an even harder method. yes this IS harder than just pressing escape and enter if you want to quit. it also doesnt ask if you really want to quit or not, so if you accidentally press the red X or whatever makes windows close in other OS-s, it just quits, and you can reopen, wait for connection to the facebook servers, press alt+enter again if you want fullscreen, etc. good thing you wont have to disable openGL every startup anymore.

besides that, it just randomly disconnects. im not lagging, and nothing is happening, but i get disconnected, and sometimes cant even reconnect for a while, even though everyone else can. and its not a connection problem on my part, since everything else is the same as before, and there arent problems otherwise.
