A trailer has finally came out for this game and it looks pretty good, what are you guys opinions on it?

Really bummed there isn't a campaign.

The severe lack of gameplay footage is making me skeptical.

That and EA has something to do with the game.

Which is never a good thing.

Yea I was also quite disappointed that there was no campaign and also I'm bummed that there are no more space battles.

Battlefront 2 was my life back in the day.

Can't they think of something new. @Lucasfilm

No space battles? Then why put a star destroyer in the PS Store picture xD

With the lack of content it seems to have it might just be a CoD and not Star Wars Battlefront.

Nuh uh. If its going to be anything. It will be a battlefield star wars. Now though im very very skeptical since no gameplay footage. But heh, a star wars themed battlefield 2142, im aight with that.

The trailer lloked good. My theory is that DICE were half-assing BF4 because they prioritized this game. EA will definitely not want to kill this franchise so hopefully they've given DICE lots of time on this. Not really hyped yet until I see gameplay.

I'm hesitant because it looks like they're pulling out all the stop in terms of graphics and tech. I have a feeling that the game won't be accessible for a lot of people on PC.

It's Battlefront 4 not 3?

Well according to the youtubers who have seen the actual ingame footage who were flown for the starwars event, the game was running on a ps4, and visually looked almost the same as the trailer just with less AA, and the youtuber rekons it looks so good that it will be the new benchmark for future games, like how crisis/ battlefield set the bar for their graphics compared to other games.
If your pc is better than a ps4 you should be able to run it

No space battles probably meant that the devs could focus more on infantry combat and mechanics to make it as good as possible. May also be because they are planning space battles for a later game like battlefield 2143, or a more space focused starwars sequel.

There have only been 2 battlefronts. You probably thought there were 3 since a few years ago another group of devs tried to make battlefront 3 but I think they ran out of money/support so it was cancelled

They are saving it for later, besides the not actual gameplay footage at the end of the video doesn't mean the trailer is faked or a misrepresentation, it just means all the sequences were scripted events so it looked more cinematic using the games engine

Have faith in battlefront, it will live up to hype/expectation. They can't afford not to because the starwars franchise and battlefront series are so significant.

I'm so confident they will meet the expectations that if they don't i'll probably never play a video game again

Apparently the trailer they released is what it actually looks like on the PS4. Without some of the animations of the characters which is for cinematic effect
