Respawning in PK
Okay, so the whole respawning part of player killing is kinda what breaks it into a huge mess. Respawning exactly where you were when you died just kinda sucks for the killer because A the kill-ee usually retaliates from full health vs the killer's damaged health and B if you kill someone because they are in the way it solves nothing.
I propose that dying in the overworld sends you to a central location at the nearest town/city. |

I was working on a respawn system that spawned you in the nearest house, or in the last non-pk zone you were in.
Of course it couldn't be done due to the same problem CTF had... Graal just doesn't like messing with players whom are dead. |
I hate any sort of idea like that, there is nothing that'd piss me off more than dying and being warped to somewhere then having to go all the way back to where I was. It is too easy to die on classic making that sort of thing really obnoxious.
Personally I love iClassic's current system for pk, very simple and easy. |
That system is the reason I hate Era.

You want guns, and a new respawning system? Go play.

idk if youre an era player trying out classic or even the other way round, but it's not the greatest idea posting what era does as future improvements for iClassic

classics pk is fun
The only change could be additional hearts and different weapons like a nukeshot |
I always thought it was dumb. Death has absolutely no downside other than death--. You can literally die, respawn right where you were and kill the person who killed you. Graal(classic) actually used to respawn you where you entered the map/house, and I always thought it was dumb that when that broke Stefan never fixed it.

It is what makes classic how it is. If you want to respawn somewhere else go to a tower.
Although I think a place like the wildy in runescape would be very cool. |
only thing i like about era is the hats.
