Season Global Events
 

I think it'd be amazing if there were "Global Events" that cycled with the seasons. Not things like collecting this or killing that for a melee or some rare whozawhatzit, but events that change the the game in a major, but passive way.


Winter- not sure what could go on during winter

Spring- Fertile Season. Patches of grass and flowers across the map, plants you can pick spawn at an increased rate, and farms grow faster!

Summer- Dust Storm Season. Outdoors, a dust storm limits your vision range. Outlaws LOVE this season because of this. Double bounty payouts, earn gralats killing npc bandits.

Fall- Dawn o' The Dead! An ancient Indian curse is causing hordes of zombies to rise from the grave! Zombies replace all indian, cowboy and bandit npcs, and spawn in large groups that relentlessly chase you! Collect zombie bones and bring them to the Indian shaman to help put the spirits possessing these corpses to rest, and get a little money too!

Also, I suggest seasonal shops for each of these seasons.

Hmm. I really like these ideas! I'm going to try and bring these up to other staff.
