Weapons Feedback thread
 
just post weapon feedback here. If you want something changed follow this format.

Weapon name
what needs to be changed
why (please make it a compelling argument other than it expensive so it should trump this gun)

If you guys want weapons added to the game, post it in this format.

Damage, RoF, spread, clip (you can say high, low medium i can translate that to numbers easy)
Does it have any special features such as charge up, freeze player. please put in how long it takes or effects a player.


I really value your feedback a ton and thank you for leaving your feedback.

Hunting Rifle

Stats
Damage-9
ROF-Medium (Should have a bit of freeze but no Recoil)
Spread-Low
Clip-5 (Should have fast reload)

The bullet shots should be a bit bigger than regular shots so you get better accuracy.
Deciding between names.

I actually like the idea, however I can not add in freeze, ill see if tash will. I entered in the guns stats, its basically now a more accurate watermelon cannon with 10dmg not 9. I can mock the freeze by making it a 1 shot reload gun.

Lightning Palm (Or non-cheeseball name)

Damage - 7
RoF - 1.5 (Or hell, even a slightly slower one due to charge up would work)
Spread - Linear pulse, instantly hits and reaches end of range on use
Clip - lowest possible (Or alternative with description below)

Basically you shoot lightning out of your hands that hits in a linear path. Hopefully it'd be able to sap some health from the player (2?). In exchange, have it slow or set a player on fire. Maybe add in a little charge time in order for it to be compensated for said ability. Similar to a no-clip weapon except that it has a fairly short range and will hit all players instantly in its path when charge is finished so it will not have a charge time. Hell, maybe even give it ramp-up. Give or take what you will.

yeah i honestly would rather have some sith lightning stuff but I would want to get the energy ammo system from PC in for that type of stuff. It just makes more sense for that on railgun since the clip system would actually look natural (cmon clip for hands? makes 0 sense even for graal), it takes a lot less work, and I a lot of people want the railgun to be like that.

Looks like the only way to fix this is to add in the regular chaingun :smile::smile::smile:

^ Make it An attachment for Rail. Should be unlock able, almost like Alien Combos. Maybe 500+ Kills unlocks it for 100 ZC because it has some pretty awesome features.

we already have the chaingun and its pretty close to the real chaingun. Only diff is that this chaingun has recoil + no barrel spin up. If we ever get charge up shots and alt fires working then the barrel spin up will definitaly happen and it will be 50% more accurate (zones chaingun spread i would say is .2) but you cant move. Since you cant move though, the whole when your hit you have to re spin the barrel = big NO.

im not making it an attachment since then the gun would be so OP for its price (it already is OP for its price). since 1 zc = 15$ then rail costs 600. 600x15= $9000. Only thing is though is that zc is way harder to obtain then graalets so theres that. If you ask me, its a hell of a deal especially since when shooter hitpoints worked a long time ago, the health regen activated after 4 seconds and you cant die from shooting the gun.

Ill probably end up making a gun on its own with the railguns current stats, for eh 30k since its the top class assault rifle. Now is there any medium shooting, heavy hitting weapons in zone. I cant get access to all weapons since im a zone noob.

also another issue with trying to balance guns exactly like zones is that zone has freeze on their weapons, izone doesn't so im already running into issues on making stuff like the kv-9, R-51, G-18, magnum, and handgun. The G-18 i tested out and it works single, however remember the ion blasters i showed you? the re skinned assault pistols? those apparently shoot 2 bullets at once and that is SUPER buggy (like it will shoot 2 shots at once while looking along the Y axis but wont on the X). I tried out the R-51 dual attempt on it and it was clearly superior to the G18 since in the recent health update, all bullets stack damage now. So the super fast guns will chew through 1 person. the handgun i think is just going to be impossible to get correct without adding in the range since it shoots 3 shots. KV9 i just made a heavyer hitting G18 with better acc and lower rof.

Don't make another gun like RailGun for real money Dx then it's Era all over again with the pay2win. I've been really enjoying the fact that zones best weapon is earned, not bought. I strongly suggest keeping the non-OP bought guns. In era, all the ec items are top tier, but then they came out with the Vulcan, a lot of the weapons now can be outclassed by guns that cost real money. When I said about an attachment, I was not suggesting something that might give the RailGun a higher advantage rofl, it's already like 1 kill every 2.3 seconds (roughly, ) and there are still already lower tier guns that can beat the Rail, take Pink Pistols for example, those are crazy fun to use and have mad spam. Rippers are still powerful and have a much higher ROF than Rail and even better accuracy. Plus, adding the gun for like $30k would put the price order out of balance, the rippers are like $40k and if you made those guns, it would make rippers cost more, for less. I would enjoy a slow pistol that's 3 shots to kill.

That's just part of my argument lol :)

Its actually 1 kill every 1.5 seconds. That slow magnum gun i finished along with the crossbow, g18, enchanted pulsar, kv24, shotgun, and handgun. I have all the files sounds graphics etc for them in a folder.

Putting a gun at 30k is completly in line. You still maintain the price balancing and rippers would still beat the railgun by a long shot as rippers kill in 1.35 seconds and railgun at 1.5. thing the railgun has over the rippers is 1 less btk, better in the open, beats sabers, shoots over cover and easier to use. Rippers have a higher rof, better in close quarters areas, have a higher damage output, more manuverability, and harder to dodge.

You also have the siphons at 30k. These are built to compete sith rippers. Have the same advantaves and disadvantages.
