Guild Reset?
 

So this is going to be a bit of a ranty angry post, so if you don't want to read that, you should leave now.


Here's the full story: (of what I know). So there was a towering guild named Absence (750 hours) that I have been a part of for about two-ish years now.

A day or two ago, the leader Thera, gave the guild to someone named Diablo, I believe something about a guild picture? Not sure exactly, it wasn't a good decision obviously. Sometime after Diablo got leadership, he renamed the guild to "Psychologic" and kicked all the members.

For some reason unknown to me or any other member, some Admin (I have no idea who) reset the guilds hours. I'm not sure what reasons there are to reset a guild besides glitching/cheating to get a tower, but it happened.

So here we are about two days after the original incident, guild stolen, guild reset. I asked one of our members, if we were getting our guild/hours back. According to him, "They are done giving back hours for ANY reason".

Now I guess I get why they are done giving hours back, but I feel this situation is completely unfair, the guild was reset for no reason (that we can tell), and we aren't getting our guild back because some Admin decided to reset the guild.

That's about it, my goal with this post is to get more information as to why this happened, and hopefully get the guild back, though at this point it seems as though that will not happen.

Just to preventively clarify, I'm not here to make this a bitch-fest.

I share the same sentiments as my friend Dark. We've been a part of this guild for a long, long time. We weren't super hat-chaser tower maniacs like so many other guilds. Just a group of good friends who get together and tower when convenient.

Now admittedly, I don't log on and play that often anymore (barely at all honestly,) but it still irks me that this happened to my friends.

We worked a long time and had a lot of fun, and it just doesn't seem right for it to end and be erased so unceremoniously like this.

What should I expect from Thera? He deserves to be screwed over.... But not you guys :(

Thera wasn't the smartest, he wanted me to help lead at night to help them gain hours faster but I left on his decision when he stated two 1k guild's were going to be joining at 800H after they got their hat, clearly he was being used and it would of took a lot of hat spots away for people who deserve it.

Have you tried naming a guild Abscence? It use to be if a guild changed the name the hours went away but if you bought a guild and named it as the old one you'd get the hours back don't think it still works though.

If the name was changed usually the guild loses its hours. Pretty sure it still works that way. I have gone through a similar situation in the past, with the right amount of evidence you should contact the head GP.

No, when you change a guilds name it no longer resets the hours, the hours were actually reset by an admin

If you have evidence that the guild existed and had 750hours and you have a good explination to what happened, you should get your hours back. It just takes time tho, being impatient with admins deffenitly wont help.

Well if I have a good memory there was a retired admin or not retired admin(I don't remember) in the guild so he should be able to prove that the guild had 750 hours, which is actually how much hours they had(and maybe more than that)

When a similar situation happened to me, Albus was able to completely return my guild to myself in a short 24 hours. I believe they have logs off of this kind of stuff, and it is usually obvious to many people when an fake guild pops out of nowhere with that many hours. Keep your guild members together and make sure you know you have a staff member ( a higher up ) investigating. Provide guild pictures of stats or other things just as some additional evidence. You should be taken care of properly as situations like this are not too common and they do a devastating amount of damage to the original guild and all its members. When this happened to me, staff took it very seriously and professionally

Ok so, this might pretty much be what Dark said idrk whatever, but from what I've heard, the leader, Thera, handed leadership of the guild to Diablo, who then kicked everyone and renamed it to "Psychologic" Soon after, the hours were reset to none by some unknown admin. One of the original members, John, remade Absence and tried getting the hours back, and was unable to do so. So as of right now it sounds like there's no chance of the hours being restored. I do have have a picture of it with 690:00 hours (and maybe one with more on my iPad), lmk if it's needed.

the fact that he willingly transferred the guild is going to keep you guys from getting the hours back unless Xor makes an exception like never before
guilds like Total Inception and Munchies were also stolen this way, it's just that the hours weren't reset

pretty sure your only shot at getting the guild back with its hours is if Diablo is able to come up with an excuse to claim that the hours were reset by an admin through some misunderstanding or by complete mistake, and then he willingly hands you the guild back
