What is your saddest anime?
 

Been wondering what anime people think are the saddest. I understand I'll get a lot of Angel Beats and Clannad, but I was wanting to hear of new ones I haven't watched. Hope to hear some good anime suggestions!

Watched Ano Hana, so far it's the best sad anime I've watched.

Guilty Crown was pretty sad. I tend to avoid animes with too much tragedy. I can't stand a sad ending.

Not really a sad anime, but a specific episode. Episode 136 of Hunter x Hunter. Never cried that much for years

Ya Ano Hana is the saddest, pretty much every single episode. Second is Clannad [After Story].

I felt pretty bad when Kill la Kill ended.

Story wasn't sad, but I was just depressed such a good series had to end :,(

I could relate so much with Ano Hana, which helped me connect with the characters more. It's the first time I've cried in years.

Ano Hana is the saddest and my favorite anime. That last scene I've rewatched so many time and cried my eyes out every single time.

I'd also say that the Ef - Tales of Series are also sad, but not that much of a tearjerker, but it does hit those feels.

5 Centimeters Per Second is a really sad movie about realistic childhood romance that you never see in any other anime.

First Three Episodes of Sunday Without God is a pretty good tear jerker.
