What are the rules for uploading guild pictures?
 

Apart from the obvious ones (like no n00dez) what are the other rules? I uploaded a picture in a GIF format and it got rejected and the reason was because it was inappropriate? I haven't changed my GP in years, but from what I understand, if you upload a pic and it gets rejected for being inappropriate, you are banned for uploading pic for the next 24hrs.. or 2hrs?

I honestly have no idea why the picture is labelled as inappropriate, it was just a picture of my di*ck. Just kidding, it was this picture:http://i.imgur.com/PakAKu9.gif

Anyway, Im more interested in the rules n stuff... like how long the bans are for?

IDK why it got rejected, I spent so much time on the picture. I had to look up a vid tutorial on how to resize images that are of gif format and then I had to download gimp...took me like 2 freakin hours!!! Im not mad yet, but expect some **** feedback when I wake up.

There was a bug with the guild uploading system with Dusty supposedly fixed, so maybe the admin was just incompetent or something. However, if the bug is still active, then it's possible that another picture from your camera roll that could've been inappropriate accidentally uploaded and maybe it was rejected for that.

If the GP was rejected for being a gif format, admins seriously need to specify this. It's very annoying when admins become lazy and just decline a broken or inappropriate guild picture, but they don't even give the right reason for declining.

"Admin: Oh look, a broken gif format. That's going to be declined."
"Admin: Ugh, look at all these possible reasons...I'll just put the first one I see. It doesn't matter lol."

Admins don't have declining reasons on the guild picture checker. There's "approve" and "disapprove". We disapprove for reasons such as being an inappropriate picture, containing bad words, or is a real life picture of a player. I have no idea why that picture was disapproved though, sorry.

It could have just been an accident.

Are .gif guild pics still allowed?

Well, I've seen plenty of animated GPs recently (just based on people's backgrounds). Of course they're not actually in GIF format, right? They're animated jpegs.

Guild pics must be in .jpeg format, as far as I know.

I dont think there actually is any other reason besides "inappropriate" for when you decline a guild picture.
