It was put in place to stop graal relay users as stated above.
But to bypass that you could simply change relay setting from /gani to something else lol. Terrible patch... |
Its mainly to prevent script kiddies who snagged a binary of the Relay and can't modify the source or can't reverse engineer it.

those "some files" you are referring to are precompiled npc's. It's bytecode.
And graal relay is not a "hacking program" or "hack tool". It's something you use to log packets with and was mainly made to reverse engineer the network protocol. |
