Class bonuses should apply in missions.
 
I have noticed recently when using my photon in missions, it deals 6 damage, when I clearly have the commando class. I feel that the class bonuses should be applied in missions. I think the medic speed bonus is applied in missions too(?), so there is no reason to not add the damage alterations for the classes

If I am not mistaken missions are based off your current level. Which is why you are able to survive in higher level missions with the same HP.

Wait, so class advantages are removed in missions because you can still complete them?

YEP!

Wait,is there a difference to Commando's extra dmg or Medic's agility?
Could the class bonuses can apply for showdown too?

I tried the Commando class and there is no difference

Honestly the notion of classes in Zone that actually give you pros and cons is pretty ******ed, so it's a good thing that they're disabled in these if they are. If Stefan (Or Stephane but I'm assuming Stefan due to Stephane not being all that involved in actual development as far as I know) would get out his idiocy and make allow a few changes that have been tried (and denied by him), Zone would actually be ****ing enjoyable.

Mainly revamping the classes to not be a minor +1 damage or +1 agility and instead actually have a use while limiting some weapons, such as commando and defender use chaingun while medic gets its unique heal and the robots are removed. /mini rant

The commando class does work in sd, the only time it wouldn't work if your using Ap Rippers because it's dmg will be too OP when sd already gives a +2 bonus dmg.

Omg stop the ripper OP in showdown circle jerk. There fair game, they only do 12 dmg with commando. Thats plenty fair game.

actually, the rippers are quite OP in showdown from it's dmg. If the rippers did do 12 dmg it'll only take 5 shots to kill someone. Also, based off of the very good RoF one wall from the rippers and you will be lucky to survive. 5 shots for a kill is way to easy which is why commando does not work, and not everyone can dodge the bullets like pros. So they may not be much for YOU but for new players who don't have the best gun it's not really 'fair'
