Spar Lag?
Ok so when I'm outside of the spar box, I checked and my lag was 63ms, once I'm inside and sparring my lag was 150ms, what is this?
|
stay in one spot and use showlag 10 times and you will get 10 different results.
|
Yeah like 345ms, 544ms, 102ms, 297ms, 654ms, 705ms, 504ms, 609ms, 437ms.

I've found a simple and easy quick fix
Leave the spar room! |
it's you not understanding how latency works

That never happens to me lmao.
|
It was just an example, it doesn't go that high for me. It may not happen to you guys but there are other players experiencing this problem. My ms would go from 63 to 180, it gets worst when i enter the spar and no its not me, i'm on Verizon FIOS sucka.

See I'm not poor and own something know as WIFI!

Happens all the time.
Prevents me from winning ALL. THE. TIME. |
Sounds like personal problem in all seriousness.
|
I would expect it to go down because not so many people are on the screen (not sure if this would even affect ping time) you can get a more stable connection through wifi, unless you're like me and live way out in the middle of nowhere and get better download speed on 3G
|
What does me actually mean .-. ? I know that ping is the time that your game ( your internet ) takes to send a message to te server, so if you your internet is bad then your ping will be bad! Also how far you are from the server affects this
And pong is the time that the server takes to send a message back to the user ( so if really bad pong is represented due to server overcrowding then everyone will lag as it take more time sending messages back ) So is ms like a mixture of them both ?? ( also not sure if those explanations are correct if not pls explain ) |
MS = milliseconds
Since the game requires information on the location of other players, there is sometimes a delay as this information travels over the network. Ping = The time it takes for a network packet to leave your computer, go to another one, and return. (Measured in MS) I am actually pretty sure Pong doesn't even mean anything. |
