Classic PlayerWorld
 

well, GTA is dead. no beating around the bush, it's gone, and it's no-longer sponsored like the few that remain. It's still a server, but it's retired, So my question is as follows; Why not allow classic to be accessible via the PlayerWorld client? I mean, ya I'm assuming that it's only accessible when in RC, and the client is slightly different, than the standard iPhone client, and the flash client is 'OK' but it's not very intuitive. Why don't we allow it to be used like, Delteria?

and ya. I really hated to draw that analogy by saying 'look what another iServer is doing!' but I feel like that was the best example at the moment because of the fact that Delteria was once a PC server. But seeing that it's dead/retired like Classic now has been, as of the last couple years I fail to see why it's not added.

maybe using that client could be restricted to VIP only, I hate to say that as well, but that way you'd still make capital, and make VIP useful once again. As of late using my new gaming PC, I got spoiled on the Tab, up, chat feature, as well as the over-all lag-less client. Although I understand that it would prolly be pretty laggy with the nearly 3000PlayerCount. But it could also draw more attention to PC. Allowing players to use the PW client seems like a solid idea all-around. So why hasn't this been implemented yet??

GTA: Graal Edition must live on, I mean, I'm a fan of Classic, but I'm sure others enjoy dull scenery, a big ass overworld full of nothing, and jobs that require you to buy things in order to work at that job. I'm sure those 3000 are just fine ._.

Are you referring to GTA or Classic?

And what's the difference between the flash client and playerworld client? I mean, I know the flash client is sorta sucky, but what add-ons (that are relevant to Classic / Classic can support) are on the playerworld client?

GTA is what was left of Classic(PC), (the whole overworld is there. its just off-limits to non-staff.) I'm referring to the fact that GTA(whats left of PC Classic) is retired, and there is a spot open for iClassic to take, and at the same time, improve the PC experience with a much better client.

Perhaps in 2016.

Hopefully soon, I would definitely play on it, and when they link do you think they're gonna make it so the data shares?

I don't get it, like... what's the plan? It's already accessible by staff. I'm pretty sure it's something that requires a couple things to be changed, a button to be clicked, and then it's added. I'm not understanding the whole preparation process.
IDC either way, I feel disgusted every time I load the PC Graal client.

Just out of curiosity, how are Delteria players who started on FB accessing their account through the client? From my understanding, there's no way to determine what your account/community name is on an account that you started using in Facebook, so how do you log in to that through the client? And do they offer account merges with "legacy" Graal accounts? For example, asking if they'd merge my current account that I use on Classic with an old account I made back in 2000 on PC, so that I could essentially log in and play through my old account name.

Not that simple really, because of the way the server is treated as a login server.

Maybe, honestly I don't know. But I know the server was built with only mobile users in mind, and thus a lot of scripts are only checking for mobile/facebook platforms and other oddities. There may also be other weird things that need to be looked into, such as identifying vs traditional accounts.

And more importantly, there is probably lack of motivation to put it as a higher priority. It wouldn't really bring in many more users, and probably wouldn't move that many users to the client.

I agree, I don't really think it will do anything for the game. Even so, would like to see them do it so people quit begging for it.

If this is going to happen I assume it'll be after a new client release. There are quite a few things that Classic uses that don't work in the current PC client.
