Best free screen recorder for pc?
 

Hey, I'm looking for a screen recorder to record some tutorials I wanna make for pixel art and other stuff. I am windows 7 and just want something that will record with good quality and that is free and easy to use. Thanks.

I think OBS has the feature to record locally, so try that.

QuickTime, which is built-in your Mac, has a screen recording feature.

If you're looking to record gameplay later down the line, Overwolf's internal video recorder works fine. Free as well and can capture raw IIRC.

Anybody have something for Linux?

I'm sorry but I somehow accidentally got QuickTime on my cp, and it's so annoying.

Has anyone tried using FFSplit?

Microsoft Expression Encoder 4 Screen Capture. Get the trial version. It's free. But it can only record 10 minutes per video. Plus it's easier to use.
