Xbox 360 Dashboard update
 

Love it?
Hate it?
I prefer the older one, everything looks like a bunch of ads now..
there is less emphasis on games and more focused on apps and tv crap I dont give a damn about..

-on the postive side it seems a little quicker compared to the old.
and I also like using the Xbox Companion app to control my 360 from my Windows Phone..

..thoughts?

Not at all. Right now, most of the people who updated it can't access their xbox live for no reason at all

Lol too late. In order to access their Xbox Live they need to try signing onto it and agree to the new Terms & Use Agreement. I'm all set now. The update is ok. I kind of liked the older version better.

well if you ever want to play xbox live again you have to update.

Yeah it does resemble the same stlye.
Their switching everything to "Metro UI" which consists of a bunch of tiles and panorama viewing.
Windows Phone, now Xbox and Windows 8 in the future as well as Win8 tablets.

Windows Phone is ok...the UI is nice. But I just hate that they felt the need to slap it on everything.

Apple did the same thing, making Mac os look like a giant iPhone. I guess windows figured they'd do the same . . .

Well the update sure did disconnect my live acc a bit but I like the sorta grey black background, but it does look like ads...:(
