Nintendo Famicom
I just got a Famicom.
It's wondrous, I think you guys should get one too. If you don't know, the NES is the localized version of this. Famicom is a shortened version of Family Computer. It only has RF, but to make up, many games out there weren't on NES, and wouldn't feel right played on the NES. Also, it has a microphone on the second controller that you can talk in and it won't come out of the system, rather the TV. Directly. Get it while they're cheap. 1983 consoles are not gonna be cheap in a few years. I got mine for $180 total on EBay in decent condition with box, cords, system, and even Manual. |
Get Convoy no Nazo.
It's a real classic. |
Get an SNES so you can play games that are actually good.

Paying $180 dollars to be a hipster. Just buy some thick framed glasses.

I have a NES... it was fun to pull out and play games until you know, it went the way of the NES and stopped reading cartridges.
More worrying is my DSLite is also having problems reading cartridges. I hope this isn't going to be an issue in a few years with my 3DS :( |

The toaster has so many problems, because after so long they bend. Your best bet is to take it apart and bend them straight, mor replace your 60 pin connector fully. It's worth it. As for the DS, make sure the games get scrubbed with alcohol. Quote:
I'll get a Super Famicom, because the Super NES looks like purple and gray ****. Besides, my SNES is a broken dust collector. 8-bit swaq. Quote:
Jk ily pls no hate |
I can't fathom why anyone would want a Famicom, let alone pay $180 for one.

Unfortunately, most older consoles have become a bit marginal, other than for collecting.
Sucks a lot :c |
Oh well. Far be it from me to criticize how you spend your money (if it's your money, that is). If you think it's worth it, then fine. Can't say all of my purchases are rational... damn you Head-Fi
