Night time?
 

Since graal's lanterns dont have a huge need of lanterns now, why not make a night time function? I heard it was too complicated but is it still a possibility? I just want some honest opinions and some answers on this question.

Any vulgarity/rude comments will be ignored to the full extent.

The biggest issue I can think of is that people all over the world play this game. However, I can imagine that something would be done about this, e.g., using client-side times or a shorter day/night cycle. Good idea though!

What has been discussed, and what I think rufus supported the most when he was looking into this, was a day/night cycle of 4 hours. (or was it 6...)
either way, everyone would be able to experience the cycle in similar ways.

Other attributes when discussed besides just making it dark, the most popular being making the whole outside world becoming PK during night.

I would love this graal would be so much more interesting

Adapts to devices clock.
Certain quests only at night.

That wouldn't work, everybody would need to experience the same night and day

Why not just have a time cycle where it doesnt include irl time zones?

Thats what UN has, the time goes pretty quick too. It doesnt go by a time zone, it is just in-game clock. It also has the day night feature but i turned it off

simlpe one hour make it day time next hour night time.

Night time could serve many benefits, here are some ideas:

1. Whole world PK
2. Different bugs at night
3. Different Enemies
4. Lights on buildings
5. Certain shops open

I would enjoy graal alot more if there was a day/night system

Heres my personal ideas for night-time

● Tarantulas
● The dark slimes in railroads set free
● Bats roam the night sky
● More spiders
● Some Npc's go in their homes
● Creepy eyes in trees/dark areas
● Lanterns hung
● Just night related ideas
But ofcourse most of these ideas can't be fulfilled not because they dont want to but because it would require a new tileselt. But a night time would be all I want just to use the lanterns efficiently.
