Player rules for iZone?

I was reading the staff abuse thread and I was just curious if theres an actual place where players can read the rules for playing iZone. By this I mean actual
game play rules not conduct rules.

if there are no rules and players do something not allowed without knowing its not allowed why should they get in trouble.

I'm not sure when teaming became a rule though but I'd like to see some rules now.

They get warned... that is it. After being warned and you do it again... well that's your own fault when you get in trouble.

What if the warning is invalid? Staff members often give warnings that have no merit. When theres no set rules everything is left to interpretation.

but for abusing what rule? If its a rule, it has to be written down, otherwise its not a rule. Then people like you will start to make up rules such as teaming in bomb spar.

Well since no on ever knew about the teaming rule, it's pretty clear now there should be a place for this. Everyone thinks teaming is legal because it has always been allowed so you're really gonna need to put it down somewhere.

There never was a rule about teaming. Matt let his ET decide whther they tolerate teaming in events or not, but there was no rule in general and especially for bombspar, it's a lie.

When you open the client you automatically agree to the terms on the graalonline.com website. While you may think that only applies to PC version, it does not. It's blanketed to all versions of Graal. Now in these terms listed on the website, staff receive the right to enforce their own rules. Read it.
http://www.graalonline.com/docs/agreement

"Any GraalOnline administrator and LINUX Cyberjoueurs reserves the right to determine, in its sole discretion, what constitutes generally accepted standards of online behavior and may, without notice and at any time, suspend or terminate your access to the Graal Online System"

You get rules when you start the game on how to play, but not anything else.

Like I said I didnt mean the conduct rules.

"LINUX Cyberjoueurs does not warrant or guarantee that the Graal Services and Information and the functions or services performed by the administration team will be uninterrupted or error-free."

Heres a lil bit more to what you quoted

wtf does that have to do with the in game rules? thats the iron rules that every graal game follows, not zones in game rules.

Rotaruc 01-24-2014 12:55 AM

There are general graal rules but thats it. There is no place where there are rules posted or anything. I have played zone since day one and ive never heard any rule about no teaming. Nor has anyone else. THERE HAS EVEN BEEN TEAMING IN STAFF HOSTED SHOWDOWNS.And i would love to send my complaint about staff abuse to the zone email but guess who reads it? The frigging manager! why would i do that? Id also like to clear up my staff abuse thread.... Everything I said was true. All the details were there. I was there myself and I DO NOT lie. Especially about something like this and being a player from era if you want to know what my hate level for staff abuse is say "jump" on any server. I was not part of this bomb spar team against purplemoon. I was clearly not raging or crying in any way... I expected tashkin to accept what he did wrong, apologize, and everyone move on. But NO once again with staff abuse there is a cover up with some bs lies and not even a sorry. Not 1 sorry from tashkin. Even if it wasnt for his abuse. Something like "Sorry for any misunderstanding." If you read his last post on the thread "Staff Abuse" He sounds very defensive. Now after this idk about the rest you but im certainly keeping both of my eyes on every staff member. Dont think i cant see you while ur in stealth either if youre reading this.

This quote allows admins to make up game rules when they seem fit. So essentially the game rules can change and are at the discretion of the highest admin of the server. So this rule allows izones rules to be whatever the manager wants. They also don't have to tell you what they are either. They should but its not required.
