Here are two photographs of a player "Pigparty (FUTUR3)" abusing the "kamikaze headband" in bomb spar to survive through the "Hurry up!" blocks.

This is something that I find myself CONSTANTLY reporting, yet nothing is changed.

Perhaps the headband should have a timer set on it? Use it before the timer is up, or it'll use itself.

I think I am going to add detection to see if a player is 'standing' on the spar blocks, and have the code eliminate said player.

O_o You'd think that a Bomberman mini-game would work like Bomberman.

The purpose is to keep one match from taking too long, so another match can take place without too much of a wait. I am not sure if the same type of idea is on Battle Online, (the Eurocenter game) but this functions the same way an arcade game would.

Bomber Arena is identical to Bomberman, coded in GS1, and doesn't take too long.

There are multiple factors that determines how long a match runs.

For example, we have an arena which is 21 barrels long by 14 barrels 'tall', if you do the math, (which I did in a previous version of this post but I lost my calculations because graalians logged me out.) there is alot of barrels to clear before you get to your opponent. Due to the arena size, it would take longer to clear a path with lesser players in a match.

There is also the possibility for players to try to run away and purposely prolong the match. This type of system prevents the option of running away after a certain amount of time.

Just to note, Stefan designed the system which decided to make sure the arena functions like it does now. (Excluding the current bug)

This will be fixed by friday.

I'm sure you remember Bomber Arena having the stage get smaller after two minutes. I assume your system is similar.

What I meant in my first post was that it's logical to have players on blocks to be eliminated and I was surprised that it wasn't already implemented.

would anyone care to tell me why this is so bad and why theres such a big fuss about it?... its the same thing as 2 friends tying a showdown match and making ppl wait forever but without all the waiting. nd since when r there rules in bomb spar lol

In showdown they can still be killed in bomb spar they cannot be killed and the other player cannot win. Say i was hosting bomb spar and the same person did this every round no one else is going to have a chance at winning prizes
