Gaming pc help
I'm really to lazy to build my own pc but my budget in mind was 300-350 $ ??
So should I get one pre-built or will it suck? I'm only 14 dunno if I'm smart enough to build one though lol |
Windows 7/Vista/XP PC (32 or 64 bit)
Quad-core Intel or AMD CPU processor 4+GB System RAM 6+GB free HDD (Hard disk drive) space DirectX 9.0c compatible NVIDIA or AMD ATI video card with 1GB of RAM: Nvidia GeForce GTX 260 or higher; ATI Radeon HD 4890 or higher DirectX compatible sound card Now you can run Skyrim! ... Those're the minimal specs, anyway. Try this: Windows 7/Vista/XP PC (32 or 64 bit) Processor: Intel Dual Core 2.0GHz or equivalent processor (AMD Sempron @ 2.4 GHz) 4+GB System RAM 6+GB free HDD space Direct X 9.0c compliant video card with 512 MB of RAM DirectX compatible sound card The HDD and RAM is a bit funny, so just have more RAM and stuff. |
So I'm assuming I need to build one! Anyone have any good videos I can use to help me piece them together
|
I'm too afraid to build one. I know I will screw it up somehow lol.

$350 won't really get you a complete rig, let alone a good one. If you up it to maybe $450 or $500 then we can help you get started.

A few months ago I decided to build a pc having no knowledge whatsoever. But right now i'm currently building it and its turning out to be really easy most of the time

yes every part will usually have -atleast- one year warranty, unless you're buying a trash brand.
i'd go for a build but fp4 is more up-to-date with budget building so i'm kind of useless. it's ALWAYS worth putting your own PC together. it's very easy and will save you lots of money. |
300 sounds kind of cheap. Thats assuming you have a monitor already.

at $350 I would recommend this: PCPartPicker part list / Price breakdown by merchant / Benchmarks CPU: Intel Celeron G1610 2.6GHz Dual-Core Processor ($42.99 @ Amazon) Motherboard: MSI H61M-P31/W8 Micro ATX LGA1155 Motherboard ($47.99 @ Amazon) Memory: Kingston 4GB (1 x 4GB) DDR3-1333 Memory ($29.99 @ Amazon) Storage: Seagate Barracuda 1TB 3.5" 7200RPM Internal Hard Drive ($59.99 @ Newegg) Video Card: HIS Radeon HD 7770 1GB Video Card ($89.99 @ Microcenter) Case: Fractal Design Core 1000 USB 3.0 MicroATX Mid Tower Case ($26.99 @ Microcenter) Power Supply: Antec 450W ATX12V Power Supply ($38.18 @ Amazon) Optical Drive: LG GH24NS95 DVD/CD Writer ($15.99 @ Microcenter) Total: $352.11 (Prices include shipping, taxes, and discounts when available.) (Generated by PCPartPicker 2013-09-02 11:39 EDT-0400) For OS: http://www.reddit.com/r/buildapc/com..._8_as_a_trial/ -- Install Windows 7 as Trial. Despite it having a Celeron it'll still more than adequate for games that don't use more than 2 cores. I.e. Most Free 2 Play Games, LoL, Dota 2, TF2, Minecraft. You should be able to play pretty much all old games (from 2010 and earlier) on high/max settings at 1920x1080 at 60 FPS or higher, if not drop down to 1280x720 then you will. This would also give you a playable setup in BF3 at least on Medium/High @ 1280x720 in 32 Player games. |

GTA 5 hasn't really been announced yet for PC so I can't even speculate. |
