People PM me and ask me to help them sparring a lot, and while the little blog I made gives very technical advice, there is nothing anyone can say to you to immediately make you a better player.

If you are sparring using a PC, all I can summarize with is:

• Set your Flash quality to the lowest possible so that you are not skipping frames
• Use a very lightweight browser
• Decide between IJKL and the arrow keys, and keep in mind that many keyboards have arrow keys that "ghost" (meaning that when you press 3 keys at once, only two are processed, which won't allow you to strafe)
• Study how movement works in Graal, because you'll notice there are a lot of weird things (pressing down+left makes you face down, pressing down+right makes you face right)
• Learn to use blink effectively
• Watch a lot of spars and try to replicate what the better sparrers do

I should have mentioned that the best tip is to just spar a lot. You get better at sparring in this community by knowing the tendencies of your opponent. You won't know how to spar against a player who delays without knowing they delay. You won't know how to approach sparring against a very defensive player if you don't expect it, etc. That's a boring tip but it's probably the best one, you can have the best sparring mechanics in the game but you'll lose against a player if you are not familiar with how to approach the spar against them.

just spar while not thinking, it works great. the only tip is to be patient and don't go in like a ****** because the other person is taunting you.

I Mixed all of your guys tips here what i came up. ( im not highly educated )

- Be Patient and Dont Talk and dont be like a Sassy Pants.

- Always look at your Opponent, Look at yourself once too.

- Circle Around your Opponent, but not near.

- Dont get irritated.

- Blink Every time you are far from the opponent.

- Dont Rush.

- everytime you see your opponent standing still dont go near, it may be a trick so let it be.

- dont run like a mad chowder

- dont move when the other one isnt moving, and watch carefully for his movement and attack straight when finished.

- sword 2 times when his near, might get a chance of 65% of hit.

.I don't know **** about flash etc, so how do I do that?
And what counts as a "lightweight" browser? I use chrome since that's all I ever use for internet. I've never focused on my frames, just movements etc.

The new version of iClassic for PC doesn't even let you change your Flash quality. Don't use the same browser you use for other internet stuff, plugins and everything will slow you down. Just install Opera or another browser on the side.

I have 0 interest in sparring for a while because of the condition of the server, and the current state of the sparring community, so if I get a PM or anything asking me about sparring I'll probably not answer it, just an FYI.
