An iPhone Level Editor?

I saw this thread and it spoke of an iPhone Level editor. Can this ever be possible?

Easy to be done if its on graal.
But we're not giving any access to that no lol. (unless LAT trainee on our dev server)

I would be pretty hard to use, unless you were on an iPad.

Level editors aren't easy, and it wouldn't be one that you can edit live levels with. You'd have to draw the level in the GUI so it can be saved and loaded. That's not an easy job.

Switch made a good job of something similar to this a while ago though, and you can check it here. It's not an iPhone editor though, in case I confused you.

You don't really have to start this stuff from the scratch, simple get a working one, change some of the GUI options, add some buttons for the placement and removal of the tiles, some extra modifications and then you're done.

Er, I'll have you know working with a level editor that has GUI elements designed for PC platforms on an iDevice makes me want to throw up. No, OK? You'll have to heavily edit all of the GUI elements so it's user friendly, so you're better off scripting it from the ground up.

A few modifications isn't that hard to create, we had that on dev and used to work perfectly fine on my iPad, but for iPhone, not so much (finger too big for a 16x16 pixel!)

I honestly wish, I would be 2x more productive. I'd make so many levels it would be crazy.

GS2 doesn't even work yet on the PC editor while GS3 is already released. I doubt and iPhone app will happen anytime soon.

This could be accessible via some sort of online script. Online editing of both tiles and NPCs are possible online via tools made by Pix (and countless others) and fp4.
