What do you think?
Hey guys, I'm sure this was already said and posted, but thought i'd bring it up just to see what people think and what not. So, on with it. I see they made a trading table! Not sure how it works but it seems pretty useful. Although I hear people are still being scammed and I'm curious of how exactly when there's a perfectly good trading table. I mean unless the person is new and doesn't know. Even if you're poor and you can't afford one or the person you're going to trade doesn't have one, don't trade. I mean, there's some trust worthy people or there, but thats...a small amount in my perspective. I may get bashed for saying this, so be it. And I know this scamming subject has been brought up a million times, but this thread isn't about that, its about the table. I haven't used it, and probably never will. So please, tell me what you guys think of it. Oh and good job of finding a way to reduce scamming, thumbs up to the admins or player who suggested it.

an admin is a person...not a god
Never said that, nor did I ever suggest it. I simply put the difference between admin and player. Besides, lets keep this on topic and not start a war ground about whos god and who isn't. I even changed it for your satisfaction.

People still get scammed because they're too stupid or cheap to use the tables.
However, you make a good point- new players can't know about it, so maybe add more things to the help screen, such as trading, the gym, events, hints about free hats (maybe just say "hidden around the overworld are a few free hats! Look around and you might just find some!" etc. |
Mhm, exactly. It wouldn't be fair to have someone new get an awesome rare and get it scammed without knowing what it is, and so on and so forth. Maybe there should be a message saying something about trading or a little cinematic type of thing for noobies. For example it tells you the controls, friends, options, etc... Then it gets to a point where it tells the person about scamming and it shows two npc's, one, the scammer, the other, the victim. And then it shows how to prevent being scammed by telling to buy/use one of the tables.
Scamming will never be obliterated, but this'll help people like the graal community more and to help more people stay. I know a lot of people who leave cause of being scammed. I only want to try to reduce scamming to maybe 5-10%. Less if possible. Anything to help the Graal community be better, i'm willing to do whatever I can. Which isn't much, at least I try. |
why not have advertisments on buildings saying that stuff
Hmmm true, but people would be running around and not paying attention to it. Need something that'll be recognized and paid attention to at the same time.
how the hell do you not notice a advertisement.
By advertisement, do you mean on buildings? And If you mean on store building advertisement, i'd think it better as it coming up in a window when you log in.
NO i hate those annoying pop ups. By advertisement i mean on buildings, in bases, on walls, billboards. That stuff
You could always have the option to turn it off. Its just new players wouldn't pay attention to the advertisement on buildings that they know nothing about.
