Boss NPC's
 
With the recent introduction of the giant blob, there is still much left to be desired; in terms of boss NPC's. A Deadwood boss, and possibly a Snowtown boss would be nice additions to the game. However, these bosses should function differently from one another, each with their own unique movepool and spoils. These could also be made seasonal bosses, that are only spawnable during a certain period of time, and are themed off of the according season/holiday.

Onnet Forest Boss: Spider Queen

Oh yes, the originality in this one is absolutey stunninng. This could be made into a seasonal boss, or a regular boss.

Spawn Time: Every 5 hours after death
Spawn Location: Anywhere in Onnet Forest
Drops: Spider Queen Carcass
Spoils: Gralats, Spider Mount, Spider themed hats, Spider Morph

This boss is quite a site to behold. It can spawn anywhere in Onnet Forest, making it truely difficult to find. While Onnet Forest isn't a PvP or PvM spot, it can still be made into one wherever the Spider Queen spawns! It is a mobile unit, just like the giant blob, however, it can drag multiple players in with its webs. When the queen is killed, 30 spiderlings will spawn from the 'corpse', attacking nearby players.

Deadwood Boss: Demonic Deadvine

This boss is based off of the morph, Deadvine. At least, that's what I think it was called prior to becoming discontinued. Anywho, Deadwood has really been cut down to size, after the termination of the cave system/bat caves/pumpkin patch/three ghost's quest. Now, it's time to bring some life, (or should I say death) back to Deadwood!

Spawn Time: Every 5 hours after death
Spawn Location: Deadwood
Drops: Deadvine Head
Spoils: Consumables, Gralats, Pumpkin themed hats, etc..

This boss looks like a Deadvine, the only exception; it's much larger. Since Deadwood is quite small, it should be expanded upon, for this boss to truly thrive. The graveyard is much too small. I don't want to elaborate too much on this.

Anyway, tell me what you guys think. Should there be more boss NPC's? :smile:

I don't think Classic is the type of game that needs open world boss NPCs.

More npc bosses would be cool,however I don't think classic needs that many. I think it would be better off with quests that lead to boss baddie fights.

just wanted to add I thought it would be nice if there was another npc boss geared more towards single players that it requires bombs or arrows to defeat.

The map isn't big enough for more open-world bosses. Bosses on classic should have a more strategic element than just sword spamming

I like this idea. I think so because when the slime spawns (everyone knows) EVERYONE IN GRAAL IS THERE. it is almost impossible to get hit on the slime. but with multiple bosses, people will be going for 2 or 3 at one time instead of one. ok maybe not 3 but they should time it so at least 2 pawn at the same time.

I couldn't agree more. Scale them down and put them in a dungeon or room. The one element of the blob boss I really like is that you get 1 of like 6 possible spoils rewards. I would like to see another boss with a similar function. I seen the blob spawn like a dozen times today when i normally see it once a day if I'm lucky. This doesn't do much good how ever when you can only collect spoils once every 24 hours.

I can't help but wonder if there is going to be a change in this or other bosses added as an alternative to events since those where scaled back thanks to Rufus. I don't think the reduction of events is so bad provided you can keep a good amount of admins hosting them through out the day so its even for players in the different "zones"
