Ask what the GST team is called, in a joking matter to not arouse suspicions, then notify the leader he's being scammed. I sincerely hope he doesn't lose out on his money.

He isn't paying for it. He's playing for it! :p

Poor Guy Havaard payed a pretty price to be part of the Demigod GST when they won last year. Tons more than 15 USD, I will tell you that. They couldn't scam him, not for the amount he payed.

But in any event like this, I believe it is against Graal's policy to allow for transfer of real world currency for in-game items between players. So from the start, it should be brought to GP attention. Although, anyone who does end up paying currency under the radar for something like this should not be cheated out of his or her money, but I cannot support these types of transactions. I don't want to say these people get what they deserve, but they should really be more careful with their money.

I was also recently offered money to join a GST team, I turned him straight down of course.

it's not nearly as big of a deal as they treat it, a team wins and then it's forgotten and not really cared about within the next 3 days

I don't understand why anyone would do this? Just grab some friends and do the GST together. It's supposed to be fun.

If a GST team is having to pay random people to join, then the guild probably isn't all that great anyways.
