So I've been paying attention to Archeage for a while now, and it's getting ported to NA soon and beta signups are open.

It appears to be the most dynamic MMO I've ever seen. Tons of interaction like building houses and ships, building a castle from scratch and defending it with a guild, tons of open world stuff, trade, everything you could possibly think of.

The graphics are beautiful. Just about everything in it seems like what an MMO should have, I can't really describe it. You need to look to see what I mean.


Whenever it does come out, I'm going to be making a guild and inviting anyone from Graalians who want to join, I bet it'll be a long time though.

It seems like every upcoming MMO is going to be the best and compete with WoW's success.
They all end up F2P with dying populations.

While this may be true, I feel like this game has done more than any other mmo has- the amount of things you can do and how in depth those activities are is truly amazing. It's the most in depth sandbox mmo I've seen, while still containing the traditional mmo elements people enjoy. The quality seems unrilvaled, thought I do agree that we will have to wait and see until it comes out in NA/Eu

I've been following this MMO for a while. I don't know if it will interest me more then GW2, but I'm looking for people to give it a try with.

Just saw several videos from the Fan-site links and i'm truly amazed! As stated before you can most definitely do heaps amount of stuff in this MMO, I can truly see this game coming out with great success :)

I feel like it does a better job at being a more user created mmo, because of how much sandbox-like stuff it has in it such as player housing and building a guild castle from scratch. It does the "open world" aspect of MMO's much better. IMO gw2 is just better with quest related stuff and dynamic events-from the start Archeage seems to kinda be a generic quest oriented game but it branches out into tons of awesome stuff like I explained earlier.

Looks like it'll be good, but if I already have a Trion account would I be signed up for the beta or what?

Yeah, I play it occasionally. it's really just a 1 sided mess where the server with the larger zerg stomps everyone else. Anything you take during the day gets nullified at night when the enemy logs in at like 4 am and steals everything.

Sometimes it's fun, but it still lags a lot.

That's true if everyone in the zerg is running solo, but if you're playing with a guild you can take on larger zergs that don't know what they're doing.

Maybe if they're stupid enough to run into a room filled with arrow carts or get owned by stealth/aoes while attacking a door/not paying attention, but any significant difference in zerg sizes almost always means you can't do anything against their attack.

Whenever my server is outmanned I just run around duoing camps with people, it's pretty much all you can do since defending anything against a much larger zerg doesn't work.
