The perfect storm
 

Anybody else worried about the newly created lag in swamp from the pker pool is going to travel north towards graal city and collide with the lag from the refuge area causing the perfect storm of lag that will destroy everything in its path?

Then don't go there. Its not near anything important.

I suggest to put it as a random encounter only you can see. When you see it, it will run away. once you have touched it, it will warp you to a cave. There you can kill it yourself. This would prevent the lag, altough i see some negative effects from this, since there's not a challenge anymore.

The problem is its not ment as a single person thing but a group effort, which is what a lot of ppl asked for, and this is the annoying un-foreseen results. a big lag cloud with its own gravitational pull that sucks you in.

As I said, don't go there then.

I feel the slime may spawn too frequently, thus groups of players never disperse. It should also probably spawn randomly around swamp town so that players don't sit in one spot. As far as Stefan has said, many players being in a single level causes an exponential amount of lag on the server as a whole.

That being said, it's a new event. Players will crowd the area... but eventually the excitement will dwindle and players will go away.

All I wish was classic to remove the arrow button so I can actually hit the damn blob and it's way to crowded -.- I'm starting to dislike PK now because of this PK riot or what ever it is.

The riots funny I just arrow the slime once and leave and let my slaves do the work for me.
