Squad spar tournament
 
Both the era and classic iOS servers have a squad spar tournament so I don't see why zone can't have one. It would put some use into the squad spar arena and maybe even attract more players to izone.

I think they will eventually I doubt now is the right time seens astho they are more focusing on the tileset etc(changing the full look of zone) aswell as trying to stock up on updates and release updates inbetween.

It's not like they have to do anything. I will manage if they don't have anyone to. If they just have a staff member support it(like put it in the zone news or put it on graalians). Just so people will actually join it.

There are way more things to focus on at the moment than an event which will be hosted once a season, I think it's no time for that yet.

I agree on this event but as PumaD said, we are focusing on huge projects that we (hope) to have finished soon. Great idea though : p

They "hope" to have them done soon. This has seem to become a term that zone staff uses often. Squad spar tournament isn't anything big and not hard to manage. Almost all the staff just host events all day instead of doing there job. Also isnt it a gp's job to do something like this? I'm sure they could spare someone to do it.

If you are working on bigger things why do half of the non gp staff host events constantly?
It's much more complicated than you think. It takes lots of scripting and leveling to make a GST. Not just a *snap* "Goes host SST for us!". If that was the case then you guys wouldn't have to wait for updates ^.^ And GP dont help make the graphics, the sfx, the leveling, nor coding. They simple keep you players entertained by hosting events.
