Hunger Games "Hirings"
 
Many people have been asking me questions about the next Hunger Games event. I've intended to host the games on a monthly basis, but due to my occupied schedule and other commitments (such as the server, itself), I've unfortunately been unable to create a map and do so. Luckily, for all the people who have been asking when the next games with be, even more have been volunteering to help.

I've decided it's time I start up a Hunger Games team to assist with the creation and hosting of future Hunger Games rounds. If you'd like to volunteer, please Forum PM me (click here) with:
  • your Graal name (if it isn't obvious from your username),
  • your Minecraft username,
  • your Skype username (or AIM if you do not have a Skype),
  • brief information about your experience (if any) on Graalians Minecraft,
  • brief information about your experience (if any) on Hunger Games events, whether they be on Graalians Minecraft, other servers, etc.,
  • most importantly, some pictures of Minecraft creations you've made in the past.

You don't have to be too terribly formal about it... Just get the above information across if you're interesting in helping. The biggest requirement is your ability to build and participate productively with other members of a team.

Oh, well. I would sign up if I wasn't too busy with Zone. I need to get back into the minecraft groove pretty soon :)

I don't really have time to do make a map, so Ill just give ideas from playing hunger games on other servers. Some of the things I would recmond for your hunger games are: 1. No diamond armor and no diamond weapons: Only do leather, gold, chain, and iron armor, as diamonds swords can end your game fast. 2. Diffculty: The game must be on hard difficulty, so if someone runs out of hunger, they starve to death. 3. Landmarks: landmarks such as caves, towers, or even small houses usually have a chest in it. However, Not all landmarks have a chest. 4(optional). potions: If you plan to add potions in the map, have no more than 5 potions and only have these potions used: splash potion of poison(poison I, not extended), potion of regen(regen I, not extended) potion of swiftness(Swiftness I or swiftness II, you may extend swiftness II if you make it a splash potion). 5. Grace period: Grace period is a 20 or 60 second time period after the game starts where you cannot be harmed by other players until it ends. 6. No Building, no crafting: don't allow players to build and craft items, players could end up mining to get better weapons/armor and keep the game going even longer. 7. Walls: have a limit on how far you can go from the center. Ill try to upload a picture of my minecraft house.(pocket edtion(NOTE: It's survival and I used a dupclation glitch to get more items))

Yeah... I was kinda excited to see somebody else was continuing this, but then I realized it was my own thread.

I'm starting to make a HG arena, it will be small, it can hold up to 8-12 players(varies on how many podiums I'm making). Ill show you the arena(if I ever finish it), the only problem so far is the theme of the arena. Any suggestions?

Sorry I just decided the theme will be a town/castle style, considering the fact that it will be small, I decided to make 8 podiums(more like holes and you can't escape it until the game starts or you break out of it(which would be cheating)). The map will be made mostly by me but shmegg will help a little. I can't upload a photo of how it looks so far as I'm on a iPad.

(DISCLAIMER: I did NOT make most of the arena, credit belongs to the creator ocomobock for making almost everything in the arena.)(NEW MAP IN PROGRESS!) I was playing a survival map with my good friend shmegg, and I saw a sight on that map that caught my eye, and I loved it so much, that I copied the entire area. The sight? A ender dragon fighting arena. I am making some changes on the arena, so far the changes are: No ender dragons, Different center design, and it doesn't take place in the end. things that I did/will add: Chests, Lighting, Podiums, and more platforms.
What will be different from the first arena: possibly more podiums, longer grace period, for the first 5 people that die everyone will be given 2 more heart containers(except those that are dead, obviously), and thinking of more stuff

You can, but you need to have a graal zone account(doesn't matter if it's plus or not) and a minecraft account non cracked, the reason for the graal zone account is so I can know when your available to play minecraft.
