New Joystick
 
The knew joystick is good, I like it a lot, but it's all buggy when tappig somewhere. Make an option where it is always visible ...?

When I tap in any part of the lower left side of the screen, the joystick appears. Please make it so the joystick only appears when you DRAG the lower left side, not touch.
Then i'll use it.

The joystick would be nice only if the joystick was always there, once you click the lower part of the screen, you cannot walk in the downwards direction

I've been using for a little while now, and I'd say the only issue I have is not being able to tap on players while they are in the joystick quadrant, so to speak. It'd be nice if the joystick only reappeared if one started dragging their finger in the joystick's area of the screen.

Also, the joystick disappearing off the screen when stationary seems to be one of its key features (thus being able to see more of your surroundings). I'm not so sure why people are asking that it stay visible.

I think the problem I had with the new controls was that before since the joypad was always visible, if you wanted to precisely move down really quick you just had to tap down. But that no longer works since the joypad resets its position when you touch the screen; tapping the screen no longer gets any sort of instant movement, you have to drag first.

I had started making my own set of controls and this was also an issue(my d-pad disappeared as well) so I made it where it only disappeared after 10 seconds or so of inactiveness, and if you touched the same area it was last in(you know, muscle memory) instead of repositioning it, it just made it visible again in the exact same spot(so if you knew where it was last, you could still tap in a direction and move instantly).

I doubt these things are going to happen to the new one, so at least there should be an option to make it always visible and static(unmoving).

I like it but I think it should always be visible and that you cant tap anywhere on the left hand side of the sreen for it to pop up. I would use it if it had some tweaks made to it

I don't see any reason to use a joystick for a top down 2D game, really. It doesn't add anything and actually takes away a bit of the control that the Dpad had, considering you have to tap and drag instead of just tap.

When I posted that I hadn't actually tried it out on the actual server, so I wasn't aware there was an option to switch--I just knew of it from dev. Also the term "joystick" is useless. Dpad, joystick... it all means the same thing in Graal's case where there's actually no analog input.
