This scamming has gone over the top
What used to be taking a few shells has now become takin umbrellas, rare trash picks, and graalians hammers. Most of these things are bought with real money, turned into iTunes and then spend $50 at an auction. Then the worst part: it's scammed. Today, my friend was scammed his graalians hammer by silentkiller. I myself was scammed a purple umbrella. Ridiculous. I speak for many others, this needs to come to an end

It's their fault. Don't those players read the warning text before dropping? x_x
Definitely true. I'm not saying they should necessarily get it back, but it should not be allowed anymore
lol
I doubt it will stop, and I'm sure there won't be a trading system anytime soon let alone at all. There's a warning that tells you to be careful about dropping your items. You either trade with people you trust 100% or not at all. But even people you do trust can do the same and scam you. It's happened to people I know and they've even quit over silly items.
Just don't trade at all and you can avoid this. |
Yep I agree. I too have had friends quit over this. Absurd
Inside the hippie place I found a sign that says "Trading". Maybe they're testing a new trading system in the future???
I wish they'd just remove the drop button all together. It would solve so many problems. We wouldn't have scammers; no-one would be saying "trading ghurka, my house" etc, lag at the start would be reduced due to a shortage of text, no more complain threads - a nicer atmosphere overall.
Though if they do remove the drop button there will be people who complain about it being gone. I mean, no matter what they do, there will always be people who don't like it.
Yeah, but you have to go with the majority. So I ask this;
Do you want to continue being scammed, keep things the way they are, or stop the con artists, and change, at the cost of not being able to gift items? |
Therefor, Darius, to stop scams, somehow develop a trade system. Era would love it
I could. But it "would ruin era's economy."
Players would resell things for cheaper than the store value, making other players buy from them instead. In doing so, no money goes back into the economy, just the players. Gralat packs are bought less often and stefan goes hungry. Unless, we can develop a trade system for items that can only be dropped, and can no longer be purchased - this reduces scamming, keeps money floating around and makes me one happy guy. |
1 day, 2 day tops, this thread will die.
There will NEVER EVER be a trade system until Stefan is alive. Put that in a safe place inside your head. |
Not if we keep it going.
I thought we left the topic of scamming and trading alone already? Plus, is the player's fault for trying to trade.
