New tileset thoughts
 
Hello, Platinum here.
I wasn't on Classic for awhile (only got on yesterday in fact) and I thought "wow! This looks great! It's so much... friendlier in a way!". So as I was walking away to the little red barn, everything was different. Before, the old tileset gave you room and as though you weren't walking on a set path, but now the walking space seems smaller and I feel trapped. The trees look plastic, and the grass looks all just one color. Other than that the tile set looks great!

Hello, Ash here.
The little red barn isn't getting smaller, it is just your weight.
The tree's aren't plastic, they are pixels.
The grass is better looking in one color.

Ya... I don't get why people keep complaining about the grass.

Also, tilesets don't really give you room, level design does. And not much level design was changed.

The area that she is talking about has changed quite a bit. A change for the better though, in my opinion. It has a lot more structure.

sounds like higbey a bit with making classic what he wanted.
But you do know the old classic and you seem to love it so I will see what you will bring with Fq4, dusty and many others,

It does feel more closed in, but i will get used to it.

It's still early days, and I know that I am biased here, but I think Classic is on the right track now for the first time in quite a long time.

and I do agree with that.
I still wanted to know what higey project was but he took to long to do it and they closed that chapter.

Don't get me wrong with what I said lol, I like the new tile set. I just prefer the old one better

You said the tileset looks great and suits classic? Why do you like the old tileset if it doesn't suit classic?
