Zone iPhones Direction
Hello,
My name is Matt, the current Manager of Zone iPhone. This isn't meant to be a biography but here's a little about me; So i started playing GraalOnline late 2001 and at that time Delteria was my home server and eventually became an Events Team member when SP Agent was still Co Manager. In 2005 i then started playing Babylon and fell in love with the server. I joined the Events Team there and soon after, the Levels Team. I've had a few leave of absences at that time, but when i returned toward the end of that i year i decided to try and create my own server, which was named Dark Nations. Was a fun server, made it to the hosted tab back in the day (Obviously didn't succeed lol).
My main contributions revolve around content management, organization, and creating a base structure for whichever environment i'm in at the time.
With that said, i do read these forums daily, and see the direction in which the players would like Zone iPhone to head to. The first major thing i agree with is the theme. Zone PC was in space, and not in the sky. I'm still awaiting for more projects to be completed before i concentrate on this. The theme and overall feel needs a change, so do expect one.
Pay to Win? I've taken this statement into deep consideration and have decided that i will change prices on a variety of items throughout the server, maybe even the amount it cost for custom uploads and such.
Too much PvP? We have a couple of Events in the development process which will allow PvP and/or Squad vs Squad. There fairly large events, and will be very rewarding. Will take some more time though. I'm also considering each squad may submit a gun made by themselves, or another squad member so you guys can have guns, specifically for your squad.
Weapons Development is also in the works and 1 may be released very soon. As much as we'd all like to concentrate on new weapons, there's other things we need to get done so you guys can ENJOY these new weapons. :)
More player submissions? In due time, i may plan to allow players to submit different guns, and pets. Still trying to think around some issues which will most likely occur if i proceed with this idea.
I'm open to all opinions (believe it or not), as long as their respectful, and sensible. Zone iPhone appreciates all the comments, questions, and concerns as we do want to thrive. We are listening, and we are acting !
