Zone iPhone Upload Rules
 
Hello,
In response to the recent threads about uploads. Here is the upload guide that all staff with upload rights follow when checking uploads:

Zone iPhone allows custom, player submitted, head graphics for players. Although this is an option for all, restrictions are present. All criteria must be met in order for an upload to be approved.

Guild Pictures
Spoiler
  1. No real-life images of any sort. This includes self shots, or shots of another person and/or group. This also includes miscellaneous real-life images such as pornography.
  2. No offensive signs/gestures within a Squad logo. (Example: Nazi sign)
  3. Using another Squads logo is not allowed. It is unfair to the creator thus we cannot allow it.


Heads
Spoiler
  1. No head submissions can contain hats, or masks on the head file.
  2. Head submissions are only allowed to contain specific sorts of small animations. An example would be for a head that blinks, but do not use up too many frames.
  3. No head can have neon color(s), or flashing colors.
  4. We no longer accept jpg/jpeg file extensions due to low quality of the image. The .png and .gif extension are to be used only to ensure the highest quality of graphics.


Bodies
Spoiler
  1. Bodies may contain a very small amount of animation. An Example is a necklace that glows.
  2. No body can have neon color(s), or flashing colors.
  3. We no longer accept jpg/jpeg file extensions due to low quality of the image. The .png and .gif extension are to be used only to ensure the highest quality of graphics.


Shields

  1. Shields may contain a very small amount of animation.
  2. No shield can have neon color(s), or flashing colors.

In addition to the above rules. Uploads must also not have any pornographic, or rude gestures.
Upload rules may be changed without notice which we will be sure that this post is updated.

I think he may have made a typo, though it would be good for him to specify an exact number of maximum frames.

Yeah, I will add that in tomorrow, but there should be some common sense also. 120 frames just for a slow blink isn't really the best idea. (My personal opinion )

How is animals bad? I uploaded a picture of my cat and it got denied. I had to wait 6 hours, which should be changed to like 1 or 2..

Copyrights: not allowed.

If you want to evade copyright(s), all you have to do is edit the original (I think 3% must be edited, else it is copyrighted blabla) and change the name. Example:
Pikachu into Pikajew.

Zone might be being picky to you. But realistically they are trying to protect you from the real world and the dangers of putting personal photographs in your pictures. Also, this game is approved for younger kids. Putting pornography and innapropriate mature content can result in them learning about this stuff before their parents want them to. Be respective and think how your picture could impact other people too.

That whole point you just made is insane. Kids find out about pornography earlier than our generation did because they can get past the child blocks, not to mention if something somehow gets uploaded to the server it wouldn't be the persons fault. They needed to get approval.
