MC: Valentine's Spleef Tournament
To celebrate Valentine's Day, we will be hosting our first ever Spleef Tournament! The exact date is Saturday, February 16 @ 8:30 PM EST!
As always with our events, in order to participate, you will need to be whitelisted for the Graalians Minecraft server. (If you are not already whitelisted, please post your account in this thread.) Unlike the Hunger Games, the event will be hosted on the same ol' server and therefore will not cause any downtime. (In fact, Pimpsy's agreed to host it in the Babel Spleef Arena.)
The tournament will consist of 32 players (so five rounds if you go all the way). Each round will be best 2/3. Elimination is final. Anyone who is absent when it is their turn will be disqualified and their opponent will automatically advance. The roster and brackets will be posted on a giant sign at the arena. In order to participate, you will need to sign up on the night of at 8:30 PM EST.
In addition to the Spleef tournament, we have some other events planned, some of which are listed below. (The list may be edited as we get closer to the event.) - Lottery - Tickets cost 1 diamond. There will be three winners with a total of 200% of the entered diamonds being given out.
Please keep in mind that all hacks and unfair client modifications are banned and will result in disqualification from not only this event but from all future event as well as a blanket banning from the server itself. (If in doubt whether something is "fair" or not, ask. Don't use unfair mods and then insist that you didn't realize they were unfair; your best bet is to just not use the mod at all if there is uncertainty.)
